Im so happy about the Percy Jackson cast and i hope we get a latina main (like maybe Clarisse) before Leo.
Maddy has made it “trendy” to be latina and these girls raised in the states have made it a thing on tiktok to say “im latina” while portraying the spicy latina steriotype which at the end of the days affects latinamerican women the most since gringos and europeans are the number 1 clients of sex tourism in our cities.
I just want to see a latina girl grow up along the rest of the cast and not being treated differently or exoticized. You guys dont know the damage it does to you when you grow up and all the women you see looking like you in media are mostly valued for their sex appeal.
