I want a typewriter SO BAD!! Joe and I got to play with two at Field Day of the Past last Sunday, which was fascinating… it was so strange for me to see “traditional American festivals/carnivals/field days” in real life, and not in a movie. I wonder if it’s how other people feel about visiting China.
(Although China in the movies is not always comparable to China in real life since the country is so big, and the media tends to capture very select aspects of it.)
Tasted funnel cake for the first time. That was interesting. And had a corndog from a stand. By the time we got down to the roasted corn though I was too full to eat it. It was rather tragic. >_<
It was also my first time seeing roller coasters (of a sort) and other rides NOT at an amusement park! Along with the assortment of target booths - no typical “shoot the rifle at the target” though. The closest it got was launching a bow and arrow (well, launching the arrow with the bow, naturally) at a target.
Also got to see some lassoing - there was a high school rodeo? competition happening too. Also saw some piglets racing.
Running through this bed at Great Dixter, Sussex, was Papaver dubiumsubsp.lecoqii ‘Albiflorum’ (Beth’s poppy) that was just starting to flower. This delicate poppy is an annual that will self-sow in a sunny, well drained site.
The annual Valentines Day dinner with my Fiancee of one year. We are so happy together and of course, dinner was delicious. I love you my future husband, @scott144
Time for my annual trip to Washington DC to see my beloved and to give him a big hug. I selfied myself At Denver International Airport and then, after an uneventful flight to Washington National and Ronald Reagan Airport, I finally got to hug my fiancee, @scott144, and I nearly cried. I love that man so much that it often hurts.

To make this happen, we’ve substantially brought down our monthly subscription fee from $19 to only $4.99 (access for 1 kid) and also added an annual subscription for the same at $49.99. That’s right! Similarly, we’ve also dropped our monthly family subscription fee to only $7.99* (access for 2-4 kids) and added an annual family subscription at $79.99.
We believe this collective price drop will go a long way in encouraging more parents to keep kids enrolled in DIY.
