Inktober Day #24 is Argent from Teen Titans. When I first saw Argent way back in the show as a kid, I was in love with her design and I was hoping we’d get to see more of her. Unfortunately, she only appeared in two episodes, one of which she didn’t even speak and then after that, the show was cancelled… Such a bummer… Like Jinx, I think we all were hoping that Argent would meet Raven and perhaps, become friends but alas, that just didn’t happen. Because of this, it’s hard to really know much about her.
She’s not a Goth character but it’s pretty obvious they were going for a Punk meets Lolita type design and while her design was simple, it still worked surprisingly well. :D Hopefully if Teen Titans comes back, we’ll get to see more of her but for now, I had a blast drawing her. :)

Here is the Mathildis Coronet finished and being set up for a photograph. The gloved finger gives an idea of scale.
The Coronet is on show at the Goldsmiths’ Centre @gsmithscentre until July 11.
