#art wip
Painting Guinea pigs over some old works that I kind of lost interest in.
Wip.
Sketches ready to go for painting! Up next will be a Scott’s Oriole, a Wood Thrush, and a Black-Naped Monarch.
Little sneak peek of future DinLuke piece and my process…( Which is kicking my ass because I am practicing more realistic style)
Finally draws a good hand. Remembers that hand is gloved in black. On black, on black.
When I first started college, I wanted to be an artist so bad.
I stayed up late one night, working on an art project to have my design professor literally tear it in half during my presentation…
The class voted for my drawing to win an award but the drawing instructor decided she could overrule that and chose another piece of art…
One day before my art class, my design professor suggested I change my major because “I didn’t have a future in art”…
So I dropped out and started my own art business, now I AM AN FULL TIME ARTIST, my art lives in private galleries all across the US. I also have a full time job as a CREATIVE with one of the largest tech companies in the world.
TL;DR. The moral of the story is don’t let some crusty old people shape your life.
