People have different ideas about the third eye.
For me the third eye represents awareness and wisdom (mindfulness). A third eye like an observer, a watcher, which increases the ability to stay in the present moment, be awake and be aware of our thinking, feeling and our actions. That ability will help us choose right actions and get more balance in life.
We all have a third eye and we can develop our third eye by mindfulness practice. To have a third eye is not about being a miracle person, not for feeling superior or having a higher power than anyone else but we practice mindfulness for developing a good relationship with ourselves and with other living things.
Mindfulness practice also helps us live with right understanding, be full of loving kindness and compassion, and have a healthy life.
That is the meaning of peacefulness in my view.
