#art collective
When I first started college, I wanted to be an artist so bad.
I stayed up late one night, working on an art project to have my design professor literally tear it in half during my presentation…
The class voted for my drawing to win an award but the drawing instructor decided she could overrule that and chose another piece of art…
One day before my art class, my design professor suggested I change my major because “I didn’t have a future in art”…
So I dropped out and started my own art business, now I AM AN FULL TIME ARTIST, my art lives in private galleries all across the US. I also have a full time job as a CREATIVE with one of the largest tech companies in the world.
TL;DR. The moral of the story is don’t let some crusty old people shape your life.

“My wallpaper and design career has definitely informed my art. I designed in just about every style in respect to interiors and pattern design, so I feel that I have the experience and knowledge to move in many directions. I enjoy now that there is an absence of a set of requirements for my projects. But the very same elements are at play. I am free to use my own innovation with no justification, to explore that balance between representation and design.”
