1. “taurus natives are …”
what is a native ??
when the term “native” is used in astrology notes, it simply means someone with those placements! so in the example i used, this would be for people with taurus placements. i have a gemini stellium so i am considered a gemini native. but even if you don’t have a stellium, one personal planet in that sign or house is enough to make you a native!
2. ^ which brings me to placements. what does that mean?
it’s basically the same thing. if i say “i have a lot of 6th house placements” , it means a lot of planets in my chart are in the 6th house ! but again, if you see something that says “virgo placements are…” & you only have one virgo placement, the post is still valid for you to read.
3. “check your (blank) house ruler…”
what the heck is a ruler ?? this is a BIG one i see people struggle with ! EVERY house has a sign in it, even if there’s no planets there. & EVERY sign has a planet that it’s ruled by. therefore, every house has a ruler !
some people also ask should they look at the traditional or modern ruler. for me personally, i say … look at both! who could it hurt?
4. “what house is your (blank) house ruler in ?” wait , what do you mean ???
this is another really confusing on for people!! so i’m gonna give three different examples.
now that you’ve got the last one down, this should be easier.
example #1 : let’s say someone has their 5th house in leo (sun ruled) & their sun is in the 3rd house, their 5th house ruler is in the 3rd house !
example #2 : my 3rd house is in pisces (both jupiter & neptune ruled). my jupiter is in the 7th house & my neptune is in the 2nd. so my 3rd house ruler can be considered to be in both the 7th & 2nd house
example #3 : if someone’s 6th house is in taurus (venus ruled) & their venus is in the 9th house, then this means that their 6th house ruler is in the 9th house
5. “if your partners venus is in your (blank) house …”
i definitely see people get confused about house synastry as well so i’m here to help!
well, you could just get a synastry chart like you get a birth chart so it could be laid out for you. but i honestly haven’t gotten one since i first started studying astrology. what i do is … if you have both peoples charts, just look at them. let’s say your partners venus sign is aries & aries is in your 4th house. then this would mean that their venus in your 4th house

add your birth data by clicking on the ‘add a new person’ button. it’s necessary to have your accurate birth time for this, as it’s based on your ascendant.
then scroll down and click on options for zodiac and houses. choose the whole signs house system and then click on sidereal. after that, choose ’hindu/lahiri’ on the ayanamsha button.
after you’ve calculated your chart, it will be something like this (this is angelina jolie’s sidereal birth chart):
to calculate where you’re going to meet your spouse, we need to first of all take a look at the 7th house lord, which is the planet that rules your 7th house. in this chart it is saturn, as she has capricorn in her 7th house. now that you know what is your 7th house lord, look at where it’s placed in your chart. also, keep in mind that since this is a sidereal technique, we’re only going to take in consideration traditional rulers, therefore aquarius is ruled by uranus, pisces by jupiter and scorpio by mars. angelina has her saturn in gemini in the 12th house. the opposite sign indicates the circumstances or directly the place where you’re going to meet your spouse. in this chart, it is sagittarius. keep reading for an explanation of each sign!!

I’m going to talk about birth charts, synastry charts and asteroids in this post, as I haven’t written an observations post in months. hope you guys find them interesting, and remember to take everything with a grain of salt as these are just things I’ve noticed from celebrities and people I know irl, therefore they may not apply to everyone. taurus placements, especially taurus sun and mars, are the type of people todosomethingonly if there’s a rewardfor it. for example, they’re the ones who’d help with the cleaning only if they get pocket money after. they value their efforts, and they don’t want people to take them for granted.

The Taurus Venus can charm the Aries Venus well, and show them how to do things slowly. Aries Venus likes taking risks, whereas the Taurus Venus prefers to be steady and stable. Both can be pretty stubborn too, and might be pretty selfish if undeveloped. This pairing is not very similar, but if played correctly there can be a good amount of attraction and passion.
