friendly reminder stephanie brown isn’t a ditzy dumb blonde girl like dc and a lot of fans think of her as. She just uses humor as a coping mechanism for her trauma, much like all the other batfamily members do.
tim holding a cute boy’s hand and worrying that it’s warm because he’s sick or something is honestly SUCH disaster bi culture, dc really did their research with this one
As mentioned in my last post, I recently started working with Copic markers :’D I usually prefer doing full body compositions over portraits, but I want to do something easy so I won’t get whelmed overwhelmed with learning a new medium. Special dedication of these boys to @kiarou for opening my eyes to the Bat Boys ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I like how Jason and Damian turned out, but I can’t seem to ever draw Tim right…;; //AGGRESSIVELY DRAWS MORE TIM

I may not know how to apply smokey eye on myself, but I know how to apply it on Jason Todd ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I really enjoy developing my semi western style ahhh 8O8 !!! I broke out my Copic markers a couple of weeks ago and decided to try my hand at learning them again. I collected my markers over the years but could never use them well…To be honest, after following some tutorials and learning through trial and error, I’m really loving them a lot now ;q;
I post my art progress over at InstagramandTwitter more frequently now (I’m aware I’ve been more inactive here lately, sorry!)
@kiarou convinced me to watch Young Justice after I really enjoyed watching Under the Red Hood. I felt obligated to put my head down and study muscular anatomy if I were to fanart the Bat Boys bc I want to really capture the strength, power, and dynamism that is iconic of superheroes. I personally like drawing the Bat Boys because they have a slender acrobat build (I don’t favor drawing super muscular builds lol!). As someone who has predominantly drawn in the manga style, I am really excited how the western style would influence and transform the way I draw things. I already felt some serious improvement drawing this piece :’)
I also started Super Sons as well after seeing cute art on it floating on tumblr uvu; I never dream I would actually get into western comics, but I think I slowly found my niche in the Bat Boys Fam B);;
Happy early birthday @kiarou , enjoy your mancrush ( ͡☉ ͜ʖ ͡☉)
My first ever attempt at drawing in the western style. Since I don’t really delve into western comics much, I don’t have a good eye for such a style. I’m sure there are mistakes. (I referenced Marcus To because I like his work a lot!)
I’m a huge fan of the Nolan brothers + Hans Zimmer films, so their work on the Dark Knight really made the Batverse stand out to me. Thank you Kiarou for introducing to me the amazing Batfam dynamic too I will explore it thoroughly ty :^)
I just wanna see the batkids bonding over super mundane things (instead of t r a u m a) is that really so hard
example:
Damian walking the Manor grounds and way in the backyard, hidden behind hedge rows, he finds Tim blowing bubbles and at first he’s like “wow you really are a child, Drake” but then he watches in fascination as Tim blows a massive bubble and he’s like “I can do that in fact I can do better” and it turns into a contest on who can make the biggest one.
example 2:
Jason and Dick watching kung-fu movies and they’re like “pft that’s child’s play” and they copy the movements from the actors until it turns into an all out play-fight as they add their own twists to the techniques.
example 3:
The boys take Cass out for dinner once a week, each time to a different restaurant, to make sure she gets to try anything and everything. They call it the “full Gotham experience.”
