#bblogger
I am currently working on a Lush haul blog post which should be live on my blog within the next few days.
My blog: bacbg.blogspot.co.uk/
For some reason, I am continuing to get followers on here despite not having posted in almost a year . But, if I am being totally honest, I can’t really see myself using this platform again. At least not in the near fututre.
I know a lot of you will be able to relate to this, but I hate how shit Tumblr has become in recent years.

So, if you want to keep up with me and my blog posts, then feel free to check out my Instagram. Warning: It’s very different from the stuff I post to this account. There, I post about skincare, money-saving tips and tricks, bargains and discounts, free products and samples.
(I do have a ‘BunnyClaws’ insta as well if you were wondering, but that’s something I prefer to keep private.)
Autumn/Winter Qblogger Fashion Challenge with Queensgate
With every new season, a new QBlogger challenge awaits me. So when I was invited to Carluccio’s in Peterborough for drinks and some nibbles to find out what our next task would be, I had to say yes.
After some lovely canapes from Carluccio’s new starter menu (I had a particular love for the chicken wrapped in parma ham and caramelised onion bruschetta) and a glass of wine, we all opened our…
A One Stop Shop For Beauty Essentials
I often overlook Poundland as a place to shop for my beauty essentials, mainly because of the failed ‘full face of Poundland makeup’ YouTube videos I’ve seen! It’s never been my first port of call when it comes to buying beauty products. However, I visited one of the stores in my hometown (to pick up snacks, naturally) and stumbled upon some goodies!
The first thing that caught my eye when I…
Masking Monday: Coco & Eve Like A Virgin Hair Masque
If there’s one thing I really take pride in, it’s definitely my hair. I love keeping it silky soft and de-frizzed, so if there’s anything in the haircare market that will help me achieve this, you best believe I’ll try it!
My best friend asked me if I wanted to try out the Coco & Eve Like A Virgin hair masqueand to be honest, I was a little skeptical at first because I had only seen this brand on…
Masking Monday: Derma v10 Clay Masks
Like almost every person, I love a good face mask. I also love an efficient, yet affordable face mask. So voila – take a look at these Derma v10 Clay Masks.
They have a striking resemblance to other reputable face masks, except they’re a fraction of the price! I received the Detoxifying Mask*,Purifying Mask* and the Brightening Mask* and couldn’t wait to try them out.
All three are very similar…
Yves Saint Laurent’s Black Opium perfume is a holy grail in millions of girls’ lives and it’s clear to see (or smell) why! Not only does the bottle look pretty, but the scent itself is both sexy and elegant, with strong notes of coffee and vanilla.
Bodysuits have quickly become a fashion staple in many peoples wardrobes and it’s clear to see why. Say goodbye to creased, tucked-in tops and say hello to fitted, flattering bodysuits!
Want to invest in a high-end liner? You should check these out!
I’m not really a high-end makeup kinda girl but when Influenster contacted me asking if I’d like to receive a Marc Jacobs Voxbox, I couldn’t say no!
I received 2Marc Jacobs Matte Highliner Gel Crayon Eyeliners* in the shades ‘Pink of Me’ and ‘Earthquake’, which are priced at £20each.
Of course, the price is probably enough to make some of us fall off our chairs, however, I can hand on heart say
Christmas Gift Guide: Mums’ Edition
As Christmas is fast approaching (eek) I thought I’d pull together one of my favourite kinds of gift guide – for mums (and nans!).
We all think mums are easy to buy for however with so many products on the market these days, that can prove quite difficult so I’ve whittled down three of my favourites for you!
First on my list is the L’Occitane Almond Voyage Collection* (£19) which includes the…
If I’m honest, for a little while now I’ve felt like I’ve fallen out of love with makeup. The thought of waking up an hour earlier when it’s cold and dark outside is daunting! However, that doesn’t mean I stop wearing it.
So, when Wonderland Makeupcontacted me asking to review a few of their products, I thought it was the perfect opportunity for me to enjoy experimenting with new makeup again.…
Hey guys!
I’m pretty sure you’ve seen this product all over social media lately – so naturally, I had to go out and try it for myself.
TheMaybelline Tattoo Brow is available in the UK in three different shades: light brown, medium brown and dark brown. Unfortunately when I went into my local Superdrug the only shade available was medium brown (however this is a pretty good match for me) and it cost £12.99.
Now you’re probably thinking that’s a pretty steep price for a drugstore eyebrow product, but it is a brow tint that can last up to three days so for me, the price is worth it.
Here’s my eyebrows before:
My brows during:
The consistency of the product is quite thick but fairly easy to work with. I found that using a bit of pressure when applying the tint works better as it will tint all the hairs underneath too! It is recommended that you leave the product on for 20 minutes (or until it’s completely dry) if you only want it to last a day or so. I personally put this product on first before doing the rest of my face!
You can also leave the product on for at least two hours if you want it to last for 3 days!
Theresult:
You can see in the above photos that the Maybelline Tattoo Brow filled in all of my sparse areas and made them look slightly fuller and darker! This is perfect for anyone who likes a natural looking brow, although if you like a more dramatic brow this could work for you too, but it doesn’t give that natural fading effect (definitely could be achieved with the use of a pencil though).
I left the product on my brows for about 30-45 minutes and it definitely lasted 2 whole days! I suppose the longevity depends on how you clean your face and the products you use etc.
All in all I do think this a product I will continue to use and repurchase! You can get yours here or from your local Maybelline stockist.
Have you used this product before? What do you think?!

Withso many beauty advents calendars available on the market now, it’s incredibly difficult to pick one! With prices ranging from £30-£100+ there is going to be something to suit your budget – and that’s exactly what this guide is for!
If you haven’t already read it, I did an ultimate guide to beauty advent calendarsfor last year – but with so many new releases it’s only right that I make…
Hey guys!
I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve posted a Glossybox post and they are the posts that people seem to enjoy the most!
My Glossybox was delivered yesterday and to be honest, I feel like this has been the best one I’ve received so far this year so I had to do a post on it.
If you don’t know what Glossybox is, let me break it down for you: Glossybox are a bespoke company who send you…
Independent Retailer Month: #IAmWestgate
Hey guys,
This post is a little bit different for me and if I’m honest, it’s only relevant to those living in Peterborough and surrounding areas (unless this post entices you to visit, of course!)
As you may, or may not know, I am a part of the #QBloggers team – basically I blog for my local shopping centre, Queensgate.
The month of July brings us Independent Retailers Month – which is a campaign…
