Elsa Pataky forced to flee car after getting caught in NSW floods
Elsa Pataky has been forced to flee her car through a window after she became stranded while driving through floodwater in New South Wales.
The Spanish model/actress and wife of actor Chris Hemsworth documented the ordeal in a series of videos on her Instagram Stories.

One video showed Pataky, 44, sitting in the driver’s seat with water around her vehicle, while another showed the star preparing to make her getaway.
“Oh god, what am I doing?,” she asked herself in one of the videos, before realising the only way out was through the window. “My only option, through the window.”
The incident is believed to have occurred near the couple’s home in Byron Bay – the area has experienced significant rainfall in the past two days – in southeast NSW.

Some of Hemsworth’s famous friends, including his personal trainer Luke Zocchi, later came to her aid.
“What would I do without you guys,” she said, as her rescue team arrived at the scene.

Pataky was not injured during the incident.
The extent of the damage to her vehicle remains unclear.
