KARPVERSE RIDDLER
- He’s a young uprising comic relief villain in my universe. The extent of his crimes consist of robbery (online & irl), kidnapping, unauthorized broadcasts, online scamming, and terrible fashion sense
- Kid genius didn’t get enough attention as a kid. Had a pitch for a cute gameshow that got shot down, so now he kidnaps people off the streets to play his games and hijacks the TV stations to broadcast it every other week.
- In between that he’s busy robbing banks and companies of money, and gaming! Full 4 monitor set up, pretty impressive, he knows. His theoretical game tag on steam is xConundrum96x
- But like its normal?? No one dies, no violence. He’s kinda squeamish tbh. And everyone gets to go back home when its over
- His tiny little hat floats on his head via magnetism. He’s also got electro magnets in those big tacky purple boots so he can like. Walk on ceilings n shit with the press of a button.
- Cane has a USB port which connects to his computer, and he can upload code into the cane to do different things! The cane can also project holograms and mildly hypnotize people
- Laid back kind of guy. Has a hideout in old water tower, alongside a normal apartment for not evil things.

I took the default spray paint brushes from Procreate and created these minimal, super contrasted portraits based off of frames from “The Batman”. I used this brush because it was a change from something harsh, like the 6B pencil brush I usually use, and I think having softer lines makes things look more realistic. It also reflects the urban setting of the film to use a spray paint or graffiti-like style (as well as the film itself–There are several scenes where characters use spray paint). This was a really fun way to teach myself how light and shadow play across different materials, and how to replicate that light with one color. I also really like how one stroke of paint can suggest an entire article of clothing, out of focus. I really like how these turned out, even if red on black is kind of hard to see.
