DeLorean Alpha5, 2022. The first renders of the all-new model from the DeLorean Motor Company have been revealed. Like the original DMC 12, the Alpha5 has been designed at Italdesign, it will also be built in Italy using an electric drivetrain sourced in the UK. Production will be limited to 88 cars, base model will have a 100 kWh battery that provides over 300 miles (483 km) of range. The DeLorean Motor Company are working on other models including a V8 coupé, another electric sedan and a hydrogen-powered SUV.

Olympian Model O1, 2022. A new electric start-up has revealed a retro-styled electric concept that has a 82 kWh battery pack to travel 305 miles (490 km) between charges. The minimalist cockpit is possible because of a “voice first” corneal system. The Model 01 will sell for $100,000 but no on-sale date has been announced yet
Asahi Kasei AKXY2 Concept, 2022. The Japanese chemical company is celebrating its centenary (although, according to Wikipedia it was founded in 1931) with futuristic autonomous electric “pod” made from sustainable materials. Designed to reimagine “how values for sustainability, satisfaction and society will influence the needs of future mobility on the road to automation and electrification,” the interior features an ottoman and 2 passenger seats.

Polestar 2 BST edition 270, 2022. A new special edition from the Polestar Engineered turning division. Output is boosted to 350 kW (476 hp) with lowered ride height (-25 mm) and adjustable dampers. There are new matte black 21-inch alloy wheels shod with 245/35R21 Pirelli P Zero tyres, developed specifically for this car. Production will be limited to 270 cars worldwide.

Tata Avinya Concept, 2022. A prototype for a new electric model that will enter production in 2025 using Tata’s new Gen 3 electric architecture. The concept is described as combining elements from SUVs, minivans, and premium hatchbacks. The butterfly doors open into a spacious 4-seat cabin. Tata claims that the battery will be able to offer a minimum of 500 km (311 miles) of range with just 30 minutes of charging.

The Audi A6 E-Tron concept is the first fully electrified sedan shown by Ingolstadt and, as its name suggests, previews a future A6-sized four-door that will ride on Audi’s PPE architecture.
