Hi all! I recently launched the fundraiser for my second short film, May Be Unholy.
This dramedy is about an atheist who’s briefly convinced that witches (and divinity) are real, all because of a prank gone wrong.
I’m making May Be Unholy for many reasons. I’m largely inspired by my own relationship with divinity and how that has changed throughout my life, having been raised quite religious and then learning to redefine that relationship as I got older. Two, I absolutely love witch lore and am inspired to learn more about it, especially the historical and psychological parallels of “witch hysteria.” Three, I just want to see more films where women and non-binary folks can be chaotic and fun and imperfect. I feel strongly about comedy and spectacle being a universal experience for everyone.

I’m making a movie!
I’ll post more about it in the coming weeks, but here’s a new project I’ve got rolling. It’s all independent and will be 95% done by me (Except some of the audio and music stuff). I don’t update Tumblr super often so if you want to follow my progress I highly suggest following my Instagram!
I’m hoping to have a section of it on my site soon so I can go into more detail, and soon I hope to have a demo animatic before too long as well!
