i have something to say about transgenderism and idk if it’s controversial or not but i wanna say it

i feel like gay people that are Terminally Online are really obsessed with finding the perfect wording for their identity and abiding by it like it’s law.

specifically when it comes to being trans, i think it’s important for people to remember that there’s no right way to be trans.

someone could wake up one day and decide they wanna be another gender. there’s no criteria they’d have to meet. they don’t have to have a Tragic Backstory that’s like “oh i was assigned a girl at birth but I Always Knew I Was A Boy” they can just decide to be a boy. they don’t have to have surgery or change their name or whatever. they could look back on their childhood spent as a girl and have no ill feelings about it. everyone is different… this is how real life works.

tr*scum/t*rfs/etc die i’m not arguing with y'all. eat rocks.

and i feel like where this stems from is people defining transgenderism as “being born in the wrong body” and while i have no problem with people defining it like that if it works for them, i think it deters people like the ones i mentioned above.

i was born as a girl, raised as a girl, and i’m fine with that! i look back on my former self with love and pride. i don’t think i was born in the wrong body at all. at one point i just went “this isn’t working for me anymore, i want to be someone else” and that’s perfectly acceptable. ❤

I wasn’t born in the wrong body, I was raised in the wrong mindset

“What’s it like to be a demigirl?”

Hello! Figuring out your gender identity can be really tricky and rather stressful at times, and may include a lot of asking yourself, “does this label fit?” One of the things that helped me most was reading the experiences of people with different identities and seeing what aligned with my own feelings!

Being demigender means having a partial connection to a certain gender.

I’m a demigirl that was afab. On any given day I feel a fluctuating level of attachment to femininity. Sometimes I’ll feel comfortable enough as feminine to tolerate my birth name/she her pronouns/etc. However, I extremely rarely feel fully female.

Other times I will be extremely disassociated from it, and feel body dysphoria (where my feminine features make me feel extremely uncomfortable), and social dysphoria (where being labeled with those pronouns and birth name, or being called a girl, feels very wrong.)

When detached from femininity, the feelings that I do have would be best described as nonbinary. Not female does not always mean male, but sometimes something that is outside of those two boxes. “Nonbinary” is used as a term for having a gender outside the two binary genders- male and female.

I hope this is helpful to those of you figuring things out! It’s okay to be unsure of your identity, and to try on new labels as you go along. Or, if you don’t feel like a gender label is a thing for you, that’s perfectly okay too! If you’re questioning and reading this, I love you and support you, and feel free to ask any questions you may have!

Cis/het people will never understand the feeling of wondering if you want to be with or want to be someone. And then the realisation that it’s both.

If you have to revisit a label or labels you’ve lived with for a long time, that’s ok.

The basis of wisdom and learning is revisiting what you thought was true.

Labels are not different.

*screams*

hi happy pride month yall uH.

I’m questioning, though definitely under the nonbinary umbrella

They/them or de/dexx pronouns mostly, but I like any pronouns aside from she/her, he/him, it/its, and ze/hir (use neopronouns for me that aren’t my usual ones and I’ll probably hug you /hj)

Panromantic polysexual polyamorous, open to more relationships (as long as my partners are comfortable <3) and also open to QPRs (again, as long as my partners are comfortable with it)

Uh

Pride yay

I’m tired I haven’t gotten proper sleep in like 2 months help

This blog is a safe space for all genders, romantic orientations, and sexualities (except superstraights/supergays, pedophiles/MAPs, zoophiles, “bi/pan” lesbians (not biromantic or panromantic lesbians), and other harmful sexualities). No exclusion or gatekeeping is tolerated here. Romantic and sexual orientations are not the same. Gender does not equal pronouns. Everyone is valid!

Just in case someone sees this… does anyone know of a gender where the number of genders is fluid? Like you can go from bigender to Poly gender to monogender to something else, but the number of genders is fluid like a Genderfluid person gender is? Idk if that makes sense but I thought I’d ask

Not sure if this word has been created before but you could go with polyflux or polynumerusflux (numerus = number in Latin so it would sortve mean “number of multiple genders fluctuates”) I’d be happy to make a flag for u if u choose that

Maybe Polycopiaflux? Copia is an alternate Latin word for number and numerus is a bit long so I thought maybe that could be an option? Thank you so much for the suggestions and the offer though, I would love if you made a flag

Polycopiaflux (alt names: polynumerusflux, copiaflux, numerusflux)—

A gender identity where the number of genders someone identifies as is fluid. (Ex: one day you may feel bigender, another day pangender, and another day you may feel monogender).

Let me know how you feel about this flag it’s a combo of several other flags lol

Is it alright if I make a seperate post using that ^^ definition and flag? (With credit to you of course)

I’ve been looking at Bigenderflux but I’m really not sure…I mean I’ve been looking at bigender for a long time but this is the first I’ve really started to consider it
