Been seeing all the love Elden ring has been getting lately so thought I’d share this picture I did a few years ago of the Lord of Cinder from Dark Souls 3. Was thinking of picking up a copy of Elden Ring, is it worth getting?

Back to something familiar, old west sci-fi outlaw. Also it was a complete accident that this guy came out looking identical to Lee van Cleef!

Unicorn redesign. I was wondering what animals might have a bony horn protruding from its head which gave me the idea of marrying a unicorn with crustacean elements.

Hi Everyone and Happy new year! Apologies for being quiet on the posting front, its been a difficult few months, been dealing with a personal issues and theres been a mini lockdown here in the Uk which has shaken things up. The good news is things are looking up and I now have a big back log of things to share. Starting up heres a gouche painting of my beloved cat, Zabi!

With the new Dune film coming out I thought it would be a fun exercise to draw some of the iconic characters as I pictured them reading the book. Heres my vision for the dreaded Baron Harkonnen.

(P.S I know hes into little boys but would rather draw him with some ladies.)

Weekend still life digital painting. I love doing studies from life, nothing beats the challenge of trying to capture the subtle differences in colour and tone that make all the difference when trying to depict something realistically.

Got another gouache painting for you all. The original version of this painting by the mighty Paul Dainton and is one of my all time favourite 40k illustrations and thought it would be a great picture to practice studying.

Head down the wrong street and trouble can be found on every corner.

Some life drawings from the other week. The model and lighting was super great for this session, got some interesting drawings with strong shadow shapes.

The Gouache experiments continue. Really liking how this colour-over a sepia ground is working out. Breaks down the picture into manageable chunks that would work very well when doing things from my imagination.
