Idk if I’ll ever share the tray with all the CC needed, but I recently made this CUTE sim and wanted to share her.
Her name is Usa Chan and she is an idol & actress. 1st outfit is the ‘party’ outfit to use in concerts (thanks to the RTF mod), after that she got 2 everyday, formal, athletic, sleep, swimwear, hot weather and cold weather.
So I’ve seen a couple people doing this ranking thing with Sims 4 packs and I thought I’d make one in terms of witchy gameplay, especially since some of those packs can be so useful for a fun pagan gameplay even if that’s not what they’re advertised for.
So I’m going to highlight my reasons for ranking the packs as above below the cut.

The litteral Seasons, Meditation Day, Witches, Outdoor Potions, Necromancy Stuff, Ocean Living with Ancestors, MOAR Familiars, Discover The Fae Cult, Eco Candlemaking, Spiritual Forest Escape, Spooky pUmPKIns, The Greek Well Garden, Get a Coven, Backyard Birds and Tumbled Adventure.
+Vampires, Country Kitchen, and Laundry Day. for a e s t h e t i c s.]
Essential:
Seasons : I’m sorry if you’re pagan or a witch you need seasons in your name, literally. It adds the 4 seasons, snow, dead leaves, and on top of that it adds fully customizable Holidays, meaning you can make your own sabbaths or esbaths celebrations to put on the calendar. It also features gnomes that spawn and wait for the appropriate offering, give them the right thing and they will gift you seeds, otherwise they will be angry. They are linked to spring and are very much akin to the fae. Oh and of course, this is the best pack for gardening.
Spa Day: With that name it seems weird to put it so high but listen: Meditation, incense, and the wellness skill (developed with meditation and yoga). I use meditation as a way to have “circle” time in game (and there are meditation stool cc for that purpose!). It is for me essentially, the “ritual” interaction.

Needed per taste / path:
Realm of Magic: I almost put that one up in essentials but only a fraction can be used in a realistic way, and I’m talking about potions. The main reason this is not in essential is because you could choose either this pack or Outdoor Retreat for the “potion” feature. Anyways: this is the actual witch pack, including spells and potions in cauldron and a bunch of cool plants for gardening (and if you feel fancy you can fly on a broom). It also comes with familiars that can boost your confidence when you summon them.
Outdoor Retreat: This pack is the absolute best for more realistic potion-making but has less interesting options than Realm of Magic. Herbalism remedies they are called, though some are to help with stress and sadness or fertilizer (which can be used as a way to bless your plants). You have to collect a variety of wild herbs and bugs in order to mix your brews or you can keep the bugs as pets! How fun.
Paranormal Stuff: This newer addition to the sims is a blessing for any necromancer out there. Séances, which can be done with a séance table with a crystal ball or with a chalk circle on the ground, allow you to communicate with the dead, to appease the spirits (which can help calming and reducing ghostly activity in haunted houses), and to do a ghostly ritual which will make you a ghost for a few hours (which I like to imagine as astral travel). It features not only special interaction with basegame ghosts but also spectres, a new form of spirit which are more simple in personality and that can be appease with offerings or otherwise talked to.
Island Living: This pack is known to add a beachy world with mermaids and boats, but is also hides a very pagan tradition with the trait “child of the island” which has been called “shaman” by some, it makes your sim care about the island, its pollution state, the community events and feel a connection to the ancestors, which are spirits you can meet for wisdom. There is a drink called ‘Kava’, which is made in a special bowl and can be a nice thing to use as a special sabbath drink or offering. You can also collect seashells!

Got that ONE good feature:
Cats and Dogs: As the name states, it introduces Cats & Dogs and if you have Realm of Magic, your pets can be bound to you as familiars!
Discover University: As a university witch you can join the secret society which have meetings around a mushroom circle just off campus where they hang out in cloacks with the sprites and give them offerings on a stone altar for good luck and positive moods. Basically there are fae witches in University and you can be one.
Eco Lifestyle: Candlemaking! You can make your own candles! They like melt and stuff! Also for anyone interested in environment gameplay this is the pack with pollution and working as a neighbourhood to make the earth greener!
Snowy Escape: Actually this one got a few good pagan things. You can go hiking! Take a meditative walk in the woods, be inspired by nature, or walk up to the mountain shrine to make a wish and/or give an offering. You can also encounter various kinds of forest spirits on your walks and have multiple kind of interactions with them.
Spooky Stuff: Pumpkins! This pack comes with pumpkin carving and I use it every in-game Samhain.

Fun extra / could be useful
Romantic Garden Stuff: This one comes with a wishing well, give it various amounts of money (the bigger amount boost your chances of the wish coming true) and make a wish amongst the various options the game give you. Aesthetically this may be interesting for Hellenic witches who like the ancient greek vibes.
Get Together: The club system is useful for everyone and can definitly be used to make a coven.
Backyard Stuff: It comes with birdfeeders! And also windchimes and lemonade.
Jungle Adventure: This one almost went lower, but I do often use polished crystals on my altars. In basegame you have these relatively big crystal chunks but with the archeology table in jungle adventure you can polish them into smaller oval shapes, basically you can make tumbled crystals.

Just for Aesthetics
Vampires: For those of you who like the goth side of “witchy” aesthetic the Vampire pack will be good for you. One word: candlebra.
Country Kitchen Kit: My kitchen witches with country farm dreams will love the look of this small kit!
Laundry Day: Another one for some rustic fun. Don’t like the washing machines? You can wash your clothes by hand! This is great with the off-the-grid lots that come with Island Living.

For the rest of the packs I couldn’t think of a single witchy / pagan use to them.
I finally made a satisfying version of myself, as I am unearthing my identity as genderfluid / non-binary, thanks to two awesome queer mods that I want to shoutout in this post!
PcNerd on LoversLab (making an account is easy and so easy for access to more “sexual” or “graphic” mods) made this slider + overlays that are just perfect to give a flat chest to your femine frame sim! It’s easy to use and is just BEAUTIFUL. It’s so good for a neutral chest aesthetic too!!
NeonOcean on ModTheSims made this mod that lets you assign pronouns beyond the binary to your sims so the game can properly refer to your sim, which also includes binary pronouns that you can give sims with “opposite” frames.
Huge thanks to creators who make queer mods, the sims can be a beautiful outlet to explore identity and deal with dysphoria. As silly as it may seem, I think I’m actually going to show my sim to my therapist and surgeon when the time comes. I shaped it perfectly to my ideals, and it’s allowing me to see my body like in my dreams.
I took a series of surfaces that look good as altars from both the GP Outdoor Retreat and CC (meshes needed) and added a whole bunch of interactions to them.
These altars feature:
All of the Séance circle interactions (from Paranormal stuff pack)
Serinion’s temple interactions (offering of good fortune and make a wish)
A series of my own interaction which use the animations from the Paranormal pack’s Séance interactions: Venerate the Lord and Lady, Venerate the Moon, Venerate the Spirits, Venerate the spirits of the night.
All of the above feature are optionals, there is a package with my edited Séance interactions and one with my series of “venerate” interactions, if you don’t download them, you simply will not see theses interactions in game.
> If you want Serinion’s interactions you need the original mod (notably for animations) (And the Snowy Escape EP) (this is not needed, if you don’t want it it simply will not show up in game): download here.

>Note / Suggestion: For optimal placement of your sim, I highly suggest using @mizoreyukii Kneel Everywhere Mod. The animations works with the kneel posture, your sims will just walk over and kneel, potentially not where you want them to, but with this mod you can kneel exactly where you want by clicking “kneel here” on the floor, and then run the interaction on the altar and your sim will stay kneeled at that spot.
3 for realm of magic, which I waited to do because when ROM was new I didn’t know how to tag non-spellcasters out, but now I do! Your non-magical sims will ignore these traditions so you can have ecclectic households!

And finally a dark meditation tradition for Vampires
Here is my 6th divinity from my series of Deity Holiday Traditions! Hekate! The three headed hound of the moon, the one before the gate, goddess of death, mysteries and witchcraft, from the greek pantheon.
I used father winter and the flower bunny as references to make custom holiday traditions that will create sims with their own custom job (in this case “Hekate” instead of “father winter” or “flower bunny) and that will spawn to your lot on your holiday!
~note that Hekate as opposed to my other god mods will spawn at night (9pm to be exact) (the others spawn at noon)
These sims have premade personalities, but will randomly spawn in appearance. What you need to do is for the first time they spawn in game (during a holiday), use MCCC (download HERE) by @deaderpoolmc cas to paste a tray sim, and yes, it can be ANY tray sim you want! So that means you can either use the one I made or make your own, but you can’t change their name/title, this is why I will make multiple of those mods with different deity names.

The 1st two versions the Horned God acts as Father Winter, spawns at 8pm, and the tradition is complete after asking him for a present or trying to fight him for one, the versions “2″ act more like the flower bunny, spawns at noon, where you need to do friendly interactions with the Horned God to complete the tradition.
Sims that are Spellcasters, Child of The Island, or Traditional Witches (mod by Zero: patreon (free)) (NOT NEEDED) love this tradition. On top of that children, toddlers and childish sims will love the tradition in the versions where the Horned God give gifts.

There are 2 versions: a and b.
The versions “a” will say “loves this tradition. (From being Child of The Islands)”, the versions that say “b” will instead say “loves this tradition. (From being a Shaman)”. This is done to go with Zero’s Traditional Witchcraft mod where Child of The Islands is renamed Shaman.
@simandyfacemask from the PAO skinblend (I don’t recommend using it without the skinblend, it will just say missing CC if you open it in cas, but you’ll be fine).
I also use @simandy PAO skinblend as default in my game (not needed).
IMPORTANT NOTE: For some reason for now when you paste tray sim with mccc it looks like only warm skintones will paste, so you will have to go into CAS (you can do this by opening mccc menu on the sim as shown below) and change it yourself.

Here is my 3rd divinity from my series of Deity Holiday Traditions! Gaia! The lovely mother earth from the greek pantheon.
I used father winter and the flower bunny as references to make custom holiday traditions that will create sims with their own custom job (in this case “Gaia” instead of “father winter” or “flower bunny) and that will spawn to your lot on your holiday!
These sims have premade personalities, but will randomly spawn in appearance. What you need to do is for the first time they spawn in game (during a holiday), use MCCC (download HERE) by @deaderpoolmc cas to paste a tray sim, and yes, it can be ANY tray sim you want! So that means you can either use the one I made or make your own, but you can’t change their name/title, this is why I will make multiple of those mods with different deity names.

So I tweaked Serinion’s In-vitro capsule tuning to make it fill the charge need of servos (not an override). The code references Serinion’s original mod, notably the animation, so you need his mod for this to work.

There are 3 versions: 1 that is exactly like Serinion’s mod but with my tuning, 1 that is shown in the before to last image of this post, graphics are free to use as long as the artist is credited: shoutout to PCHVector on Freepik, and finally the version from the last picture for which I made the texture (I called them “basics”).
Added 2 new swatches in black and brown to the “invisible” meditation stool. Link updated, file has the same name so you can easily replace it.

Removed a shadow on the “invisible” meditation stool, it showed especially indoors.
Added more slots on the moon altar, I just needed MORE. (note I am about to post an update on my altar mod and you will need to redownload this new version for it to work properly.
I made a wheel of the year for the sims 4! It was a very simple mesh to make, texture is from PandoraWitchShop, it’s a wheel you can actually buy irl here.
“Snow Fun” can be fulfilled with any interaction with the snow such as: making, destroying, appreciating and talking to snowpals, playing in the snow, making a snow angel, having a snowball fight, and shoving snow.
The following trads require Island Living: Collecting Seashells / Fire Dance / Drinking Kava / Sand Sculpture. “Fire dance” is a specific interaction only available with the Island Living bonfire.
From left to right, top to bottom: Everyday (classic), Formal (gothic), Athletic (cheerful), Sleepwear (sleepy), Party (solitude), Swimwear (swimsuit), Hot Weather (white eve), Cold Weather (Snow Miku 2019).
For this sim I fished out some lost cc (from Reitanna, who is now gone from the internet) (and also I re-uploaded a bikini from cosplaysimmer who seems to be gone now too), and made some edits (I made an accessory for her hair and made Reitanna’s skirt slightly longer).
