Hi folks!
I’m so excited to reveal some thumbnails of the illustrations for The Valiard Mansion, my illustrated novel. We’re planning to have over 150 traditionally inked illustrations in the novel across its 140,000+ word count. (That’s roughly the length of Pride & Prejudice!) The book will be released as a hardcover and it’s looking amazing so far!
We’re also going to release clips of the animated trailer soon, as well as making-of videos, so I’ll keep you guys updated on that.
Thanks to everyone for joining me on this long, long road to getting Valiard published. :heart: Some of you have been with me since 2013, which is insane to imagine! :faint:

HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM THE VALIARD BOYS!
I held a fun suggestion pool on Instagram for ideas for a Halloween themed Valiard pic. Werewolf Theodore, Zombie Gangfield, and Bat Dennis, as well as the idea of a graveyard tea party, totally got my imagination going!

Parco Sigurtà, Verona. It started out as a mansion in 1417 and was inaugurated as a Park in 1978; some of his most illustrious guests were the Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria and Napoleon III of France.

The grade-II listed estate dates back to the 1480s, when it was first built for a wealthy salt merchant. The home was initially constructed on River Colne in the town of Colchester, one of Britain’s oldest recorded towns, where it remained until 1910.
In 1910, an antiquarian bought the home for £350, and spent nearly 10 times the amount he purchased it for to painstakingly dismantle and rebuild the home brick-by-brick on a plot of land 70 miles away in Kingston-upon-Thames. During this time, the home was fully rebuilt to its original glory.

Big mansion at Greenbank Garden. it’s interesting to note that some windows are painted - they are not real! The walled garden looks tidy from the outside. It’s a shame that currently it’s closed due to the pandemic. Will have to go back the other day.
The celebration of Glasgow heritage. The tall windows brighten up the spiral staircase behind. What a gem!
There was this little Victorian neighborhood and it was so cute guys, I wanted to live there. Every house was brightly painted and with obscure details, everything was perfect.✨
