I haven’t done a self portrait in a long, long time, but this art idea has been in my head for months since a bit of a scare - memento mori. I worked with one of my favorite bands from the 80s/90s, @gunsnroses, on this officially licensed screen-print through @bottleneckgallery! The regular is 7-colors with metallic inks and black flocking, and the blacklight variant is 6-colors with fluorescent inks and black flocking! This is up RIGHT NOW at bottleneckgallery.com. I got started screen-printing gig posters over 11 years ago with @ghosttownstudio in the basement of a Pawtucket mill building, so it was fun to finally get back into some band art again.

Watercolor, 2021
Actually, painted about 75% of this a couple years ago. It was strange and interesting picking up a painting again after a longer gap, and noticing areas that could be changed or improved upon. Also, a mysterious challenge in trying to guess and match color mixes. I think I did alright, but should probably start taking color notes if I make this a habit, lol

MTV Cribs: Goth Edition. The chandelier was made from the bones of my enemies
(The Sedlec Ossuary - also known as the Church of Bones - is decorated with 40,000+ human skeletons. Back in 1870, a local woodcarver was employed with the macabre af task of artistically arranging thousands of bones, since there was no more room in the crypt.)
