This has been sitting in my drafts for a while because it’s such a specific au that will probably appeal to no one but me but I drew so much of it lmaooo
so anyway Karmagisa Skip Beat AU. For two very different pieces of media they work surprisingly well together
Nagisa runs away from home at 17 after getting fed up with his abusive controlling mother. He basically just wants to get a job he knows his mother would never approve of so he decides to get into show business. So he heads to the biggest agency in Tokyo to try and get a job. There he randomly encounters Akabane Karma, Japan’s number 1 actor. Karma instantly dislikes him because he doesn’t like why Nagisa’s trying to get into show business, he doesn’t care about talent or acting he just wants to get back at mommy, and yet he somehow has this innate acting talent.
Nagisa attends an audition judged by a couple heads of the departments and the infamously eccentric president (Koro-sensei) which he fails, because koro-sensei feels he lacks something important to succeed, a passion for life, a drive to do things for himself, a desire to be loved. So Koro-sensei creates a new section for him called the Love Me section where he can learn grow emotionally while also starting his acting career.
While spending more time together due to their shared agency, Karma starts to grow more fond of Nagisa (particularly after the discovery that he and Nagisa briefly knew each other as children, though Nagisa’s not aware of it).
It just hit me that Nagisa and Karma has literally been to the movies together, went to the moon together, held each other’s hands and apparently Nagisa is the only person who’s been to Karma’s home.. (￣▽￣) 。。。（O . O)

so…life kind of hit me the last third of Inktober, but that’s okay because I got really motivated to get back up and draw thanks to Inktober, and now I’m working on other projects! It is a nice feeling~
Nagisa secretly loves punk rock, he seems like a closeted punk kid. Like, his mom only lets him listen to pop or country music but he listens to 2000s rock when he has earbuds in.
He’ll be driving a small car like a KIA as a 5'3", 120 pound, 24 year old man but all you’ll hear from it is One Step Closer by Linkin Park just blaring.

He probably likes Linkin Park because their lyrics sound a lot like his childhood and how he would feel from it. Like the song Numb? That’s literally his life, if you don’t know it, here’s the lyrics:
Chester sounds kinda like English Dub Nagisa to me too, but that’s a whole other rabbit hole side of my brain we won’t get into
I can picture Nagisa having his band phase as an adult because he couldn’t have it as a teenager. So his room has posters, he has merch and decided to pick up the drums or guitar because he liked rock so much. He has CDs piled and cassettes all over his dresser because he doesn’t have anywhere else for them.
When he isn’t working, he’s wearing band t-shirts, flannels and baggy jeans with studded belts. Because we’re gonna pretend he doesn’t know how to dress… he seriously can’t.
