This was a spur of the moment “what your fic doesn’t have art?” creation, and I’m so happy I got the chance to create art for this beautiful fic (and to get to read it almost before everybody else ;D). I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! The story illustrates so wonderfully what it means to support your partner, not just in small things, but also in big life decisions.

If each of the characters had a YouTube channel, this is what they would be about part 2:
Lavander, Pavarti, and Padma: they would have a group channel for podcast-like weekly talks about school drama. They would also do book reviews (romance novels) and sometimes fortune telling but those got the least views and worst comments
Oliver: obviously quidditch based but also good training and technique advice
Tonks: acts out viewer submitted stories with the help of her morphing abilities. literally gets 100k views easily
Astoria: I feel like she does videos in the “with me” category. Make tea with me, shop with me, study with me. Also ASMR
Lee: commentary channel. He’s really informative but also really enjoyable to listen to
Seamus and Dean: honestly variety channel. storytimes, games, commentary. They do it all tbh

I’m not gonna lie, this chapter was pretty underwhelming overall.
favorite character aesthetics: Rowan Khanna, Penny Haywood, Ben Copper, Bill Weasley, Nymphadora Tonks, Tulip Karasu, Barnaby Lee, Andre Egwu and Charlie Weasley. The Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery Gang.
Okay but imagine Draco Malfoy meeting Nymphadora Tonks exactly once when he was 5 and she was 12. With the dark lord and Bellatrix gone, Narcissa wanted to see her sister. So she arranged a meeting in a park with her sister without telling Lucius. They arrive and Nymphadora takes little Draco to sit by the lake so their mothers could talk. Draco is really shy and doesn’t want to be there but then Nymphadora changes her hair and eyes to match his and he’s intrigued. So she starts telling him about Hogwarts and changing her features showing him all the different colors she can do. She can hear her mother and her aunt’s rising voices as they start to argue so she keeps Draco entertained so he doesn’t have to hear the argument. Then Narcissa grabs Draco and leaves, claiming it was a mistake trying to speak with her sister. Nobody ever talked about that day, it was as if it had never occurred.
Years later, Draco Malfoy is walking down Diagon Alley and he runs into the Potters and his Aunt. They were getting things for Teddy’s first year. The minute they see bump into each other is tense. Draco is mortified, he hadn’t seen his aunt since that day at the park. Andromeda held his eye contact with grace only breaking it to glance at his arm. Shame filled him when he remembered her husband and daughter were killed by death eaters. In their stare down they didn’t notice Teddy approach them. Teddy held his grandmothers arm and looked up at Draco and without warning changed his hair and eyes to match Draco. Draco went still as he looked Teddy because in that moment he remembered being five and meeting his only cousin for the first and only time. It was too overwhelming so he fled spluttering apologies to everyone, hoping Andromeda understood what he was really apologizing for. He never mentioned this day to anyone, not even his mother, but he thought about it often.
Why does Tonks’s character apparently get ruined when she becomes a mother but Dad!Remus is so glorified in the fandom?
And what’s best, Tonks is also reduced to a surrogate in the fandom yet somehow it’s getting married and having a child that ruins her character?
Tonks as a mother is so underappreciated (when she was pregnant during a war and then went to a battle days later after giving birth to try and help to make a better world for him) but she’s so hated for it? Why do people have so much hate for “badass” women who get married and have children as if those women can’t be badass? A woman can be a badass no matter if she’s married or not, has children or not, aka just always. Her character didn’t get “ruined” or “reduced to a housewife”. You’re just dumb
You forget tonks having a child shows her and Remus loved each other. No we can’t have that. That would hurt the wolfstar mega Stans
