I recently finished reading this Hunter S. Thompson “oral history” I found at the thrift store a few years ago, GONZO, and the whole time I was like, how was this man not an Aries? The arrogance! The pure unadulterated ambition! The total and complete selfishness! The idiotic stubbornness! I mean, his “character” was relatable in an eerie kind of “evil twin” way. I kept thinking to myself, dude sounds exactly like if me (Aries) and my abusive ex (extremely Pisces) were the same person. The paranoia, the watery moods, the fucking apocalyptic meltdowns, the dragging of everyone around you down into yr own mostly self-created pit of despair and rage. The unrelenting desire to drive drunk directly into a brick wall, basically. It all felt uncannily familiar! So finally, just for laughs, I looked up his natal chart… and apparently, that motherfucker was an Aries rising. ONE DEGREE away from Pisces! :v I keep saying I’m a skeptic who is just here for the memes but this is ridiculous lmao
Another thing I found personally disorienting is that the book didn’t include anything about Hunter S. Thompson and “STET.” Stet is a Latin word meaning “let it stand,” and it’s used in proofreading to say that a word or phrase that was crossed out should stay the same. I got it tattooed on my knuckles on my 30th birthday for reasons unrelated to HST, however, it has always been my understanding that I first learned that word ages ago, when I’d heard or read somewhere that he used to send his edited manuscripts back to Jann Wenner or whoever, all marked up with STETs as he constantly fought with editors over proofreading decisions. In my memory I feel like this is something I learned? absorbed? imagined?? back when I was like 18 or 20ish, and it’s always been this minor detail that took on mythic proportions – I mean, the story definitely appeals to my own distaste for editing ~muh work~ – but I guess it’s just part of my own personal apocrypha, because I cannot even find a damn thing about it online. Transits: Entering a new relationship, reunion with an old partner, marriage or commitments
With St. Valentine’s Day coming up, I have received many questions connected with love, entering new relationships and commitment in a partnership, so I have decided to make this post and include in it some of the transits that can be directly related to this topic.
Transit Venus over your 7th House
The planet of love being over the house of committed relationships and marriage can be the best sign of starting a new relationship. It may be one that starts with the intention of commitment (marriage) or one that ends up being committed regardless of the beginnings.
Transit Venus over the 5th House
This can show a period with more focus on your dating life - more romantic advnetures, meeting potential partners. It can show the dating period before the actual time of commitment (7th House).
In many cases, this can be a sign of marriage or entering a relationship with the intention of commitment. It can be interpreted as settling down. It can also show working on a relationship, putting effort on a relationship. It can show a reunion with a previous partner in which both people are willing to do better this time.
This can also be a sign of commitment, entering a new romantic relationship with the intention of commitment. But compared to the conjunction or a square between the two planets, this will feel easier - it won’t be something that will need perfecting, it can already feel perfect.
This can show a new romantic relationship that can happen very quickly. It can be a sign of someone from the past coming back. It can show something unexpected happening in your romantic life.
Transit Uranus over the 5th or 7th House
Over the 5th House, this can show entering a relationship with someone you least expected. It can show meeting new people, going out of your comfort zone when it comes to dating, experimenting more. It can also show chaos in your romantic life.
Over the 7th House, this can show chaos in a marriage or a serious romantic relationship - an on/off period of the relationship. It can show eloping or marrying someone in a less traditional way. It can also show opening up a relationship. It can also be interpreted as fast commitment/meeting someone and becoming devoted to each other quite fast.
Transit Saturn over the 5th or 7th House
Saturn over the 5th can be a sign of a casual relationship becoming more serious. It can show devoting more time to a relationship. It can also be a sign of taking a break from the dating scene. It can show romantic struggles, sometimes suffering or insecurities connected to dating.
Over the 7th House, this can be a sign of a big romantic commitment or step in a relationship (engagement, marriage, moving in together it finally deciding that this will be endgame). It can show willing to put effort into a relationship - more work, it will feel mutual because the 7th house is very reflective. In some cases, this can show marital problems, a time in which there are issues with control in the relationship.

Transit Neptune - natal Venus aspects (trine, conjunction, sextile) ORTransit Neptune over the 5th or 7th House can be a sign of falling in love, developing feelings for someone, romanticizing someone in your life. It can show a lot of romantic fantasies and daydreaming.
Mars over the 5th House can show a more active dating life, meeting new people, pursuing people romantically.
Transit Pluto trine or conjunct natal Venus can be a sign of developing intense romantic feelings for someone, wanting to get to know someone, being intrigued by someone.
Transit Neptune or Venus over your 1st House can be a time when you receive more direct romantic attention from others, when you get pursued by others, others may be more attracted to you during this time.
Jupiter over the 5th or 7th can also indicate romantic luck, a lucky period in your love life, but it isn’t always directly related to commitment. It can be connected to the growth of a relationship, a happy period in a relationship you have.
Vertex aspecting your natal Venus can be a big sign of any major changes happening in your romantic life, but it could mean both positive and/or negative.
Node over the 5th or 7th can show a time where you might develop a very meaningful, very purposeful romantic relationship, one that has potential for growth.

ah yes. Mars in the signs. Mars =motivation, energy, aggression, passion. Mars is what drives you, what fuels you. Used positively, you’ll fuel others, you will glow, you feel free and can fight off negative energies being thrown at you.

cancer mars: love and vulnerability. you can’t stand people who cannot show their vulnerable side because it tenses you. in fact a lot of cancer mars will have a hard time because they see how much the world is beating everyone up and they have no choice but to protect themselves from people who declare that they will not be vulnerable. you are driven by the emotional connection of others
leo mars: when you are able to express and people focus on that, you are at your best. being you and aligning yourself with who you are is what fuels you. you love helping others but if it doesn’t align to how you want others to see you, than you’d rather just practice self care. You need people to see your efforts and the way you express love, friendships, etc etc. not being able to be seen for your value drains youuuu.

scorpio mars: literally know how to love someone soul crushingly much(your soul) you actually raise people up from grounds with your love. you know what it’s like hitting the ground because you’ve been there done that so many times. in a positve energy, you are fueled by healing others and showing people their own innate strengths. in a negative energy, you can destroy someone even prolly using black magic just to give that revenge some spice. you go through your reckless phase just as much as you go through your healing from ashes phase.
