Amor Asteroid (1221) and soulmates

TheAmor asteroid in Astrology is connected to platonic love and compassion - similarly to Ceres it can represent unconditional love, one that doesn’t need to have a reason to exist, one that would exist regardless of the circumstances, but in a romantic way, unlike Ceres which is normally connected to a mother-child type of relationship.

Amor can show intimacy, closeness, a relationship that doesn’t have to be sexual, but one that carries a strong connection between the two people. Amoralso shows how we deal with romantic rejection - whether it’s aspected in anger (natal aspect to Mars), in isolation and loneliness(natal aspectto Uranus and/or Saturn), in victimhood(natal aspect to Neptune), in putting more focus on ourselves (natal aspect to Sun or Venus) or accepting it as a lesson, despite our ego being hurt (natal aspect to Jupiter).Natal aspects between Amor and Pluto, or the Moon can be a big sign of holding onto relationships(Moon) or them being life-changing, having big impact on us and our future relationships (Pluto).

Amor conjunct the other person’s Sun or Ascendant, Amor in the other person’s 1st House

The Sun/Ascendant/1st House person has the qualities that the Amor person can idolize romantially, it can show direct attachment and romantic feelings that can evolve fast. The Amor person may fall in love with the Sun/AS person’s presence, their being. They can romanticize them, view them through rose-colored glasses (at times it can be quite Neptunian). The Sun/AS person will feel truly confident, appreciated, worthy and valid. They can view each other as their ideal lover, as someone who directly represents the qualities in the person they have always wanted to love.

Amor conjunct the other person’s Moon

This can give a feeling that it was “meant to be”. It can be very selfless, quite sacrificial at times as if even hurting the other person the slightest causes great pain to yourself too. The Moon person will feel like their true self is finally loved by someone, as if someone worships the part of themselves that they can’t seem to always love themselves.

Amor conjunct the other person’s Venus

This is one of the straight-out-of-a-fairytale aspects. It can show a very romantic love, a love in which both people, the Amor person specifically, are willing to do whatever it takes to please the other person romantically. It can show a growing love, one that builds up both people, one that allows them to live out their romantic desires. It can feel that the relationship was meant to be - even if other aspects in the synastry chart are bad, they are likely to come back to this relationship.

Amor conjunct the other person’s Descendant/opposite their Ascendant or Amor in the other person’s 7th House

The relationship will feel very reflective - they are likely to act on it or develop feelings for each other at the same time. This can signify a very strong union, a union that carries love for each other that can’t go away regardless of the circumstances. In many cases, it can be said that this is the type of relationship where both people are ready to take a bullet for each other. It can be selfless, the other person will be a priority, they will be an important part of your life you have to think about before making any decision. It is often seen in long-term relationships.

Amor conjunct the other person’s Psyche

This can show a love that is very emotional - very profound. It is not physical, not just emotional - it seems to come from a very different place. In this aspect, you are in love with the other person’s being, their soul. The relationship can feel romantically transformative, as if all journeys have finally led to this. The relationship will bring out both people’s intuition, especially when it’s connected to the other person - it can give a telepathic-like connection. The relationship may feel like the place in which the Psychic person finally allows themselves to be loved. They may learn more about themselves due to the relationship. It can also show that while the relationship can be their greatest strength, it can also feel like their greatest weakness, due to the dependency on the other person.

Asquare or an opposition can also be felt strongly, but it will have the ability to make the relationship a bit more complicated - there may be one-sided attachment, one person giving everything they can while the other may be more apathetic or passive, it can show a strong love that also brings out the Amor person’s insecurities, makes them question their worth, it can make them neglect themselves due to the focus over the other person.

Composite chart notes

Notes are based on my own experiences and opinions. If it doesn’t resonate check other placements. The whole chart maters.

The composite chart will show the nature of any relationship.

Tip - don’t use a composite chart only for your spouse. For interesting experiments, try it out for your parents, siblings, friends, etc.

• Mercury in the composite chart will show you what you two enjoy talking about the most. Mercury in the 9th house will enjoy talking about travel, education, and beliefs. But Mercury in the 12th house - dreams, spirituality, hidden things.
• Mars in the composite chart will show arguments. What are you arguing the most about? How do you deal with arguments? etc.
• Oppositions will show a big attraction and tension, but you have to be careful.
• In the (romantic relationship) composite chart, a north node in the 5th house is a perfect indicator for having children. OR in Cancer.
• Stellium in the 12th house is one of the hardest things in the composite chat. Rarely relationship will work out, but of course, check other placements.
• If your 3rd house in the composite chart is Sagittarius, then you will have the most interesting and fun conversations.
• 4th house in the composite chart will show you how is the “home life” between you two.

For example, Libra would indicate having a balance and diplomatic approach at home, but if Neptune is in the 4th house too, then your home life would be more confusing and distant.

• For long-lasting relationships, look at Saturn placements.
• Uranus placements will show where you might experience massive unexpected changes.
• Juno in 7th (for couple composite) is a big marriage indicator. Also Saturn in the 7th house.
• Well aspected moon in the 4th house is cute
• Asteroid Medusa in the composite will show you the biggest mistakes that you both make in the relationship.
• Leo MC in the composite chart might indicate having a “perfect” relationship in the public. What’s going on not in the public, can tell the rest of the chat.
• Having Aries stellium might indicate having a lot of fights, but that isn’t the only thing. The relationship is very passionate.
• A lot of cancer placements indicate a very protective and private relationship.
• People with Chiron in the 1st house composite chart, are seen as “been through a lot of shit” relationship.
• Asteroid charis (627) will show attraction in the (romantic) composite chart.
• Also having this asteroid with strong aspects to Jupiter, rising or Sun, might have to deal with some kind of fame (but check other placements).
• Asteroid Pallas will show what you will learn from each other.
• Also, the Pallas asteroid is meaningful for a father-daughter relationship.
• Stellium in the 11th house gives many friendly vibes. Very good placement for friends.
• Sun will show you the main center/focus on the relationship.
• I looovee Sagittarius placements in the composite chart.

- The Synastry chart between two people is the impact they put on each other, and the composite is the result of the impact.

- The best emotional understanding is between the same moon sign or someone with person a’s sun as their moon. 

- Venus 1H usually gets who/what they want, are really eye catching and people tend to fall for Venus 1h.

- whatever sign your moon is in, people tends to have the traits of the sign be more intense weather they like it or not. (ex: cancer moon acts more like a cancer than a cancer sun would) 

- Sagittarius tends to be really lucky , especially placements like Sagittarius Jupiter.

- Water Venuses are huge hopeless romantics, Scorpio Venus may be a more weaker representation of hopeless romantics and more of intimate romance. 

- Gemini, Aquarius, Virgo and Capricorn Mercuries tend to use body language while talking, especially during debates. 

- Moon square or opposition mercury aspects emotions are like a seesaw, their mind is telling them one thing and their mercury is saying another. These people tend to like poetry, storytelling and may like English. They may be idealistic. 

- Mars in Virgo are reeally good when it comes to sexuality, and sexual intercourse, it’s like they’ve learned straight from a book and studied how to be good in bed for years. 

- Fire moons tend to conceal their emotions from others and are more likely to have god complexes. 

- Air moons usually lack empathy, also tend to have god complexes and rationalize their emotions.

- Earth moons tend to be more anxious then others, repress their feelings, and have trouble opening up to people.

- Water moons tend to over absorb others emotions, usually really sensitive to criticism, and might have victim complexes

Random food for thought!

After experiencing both composite Saturn and Jupiter in the 8th in separate isolated incidents I can say the following with confidence.

Saturn in composite 8th house:

Sexually it doesn’t make sex impossible, rather it makes sex a longer/more durable experience for both parties. Big on the sensuality and the build up and chemistry is often intense/earthy in its nature. Typically though it takes longer for the sexual encounter to initiate between the two of you. I’ve also noticed there’s a very serious nature in the way you deal with one another. I’d give it the theme of being passionate/real And raw. I’m very serious about the endurance part, you’ll last a lot longer sexually with one another than you would with anyone else because of Saturn withholding the sexual climax. The two people can feel clingy or intertwined after sex which is often why the sex needs interval of space due to the obsessive quality of this placement

Jupiter in composite 8th house:

Sexually it can mean sex on the first date, it can also mean sex doesn’t last long. But just because it isn’t going hard in the endurance category doesn’t mean the sex is bad, rather the sex is so over stimulating that it can cause fast ejaculations for both parties. In true Jupiter fashion quickes, wanting to have sex 4-5 times a day or overal multiple sessions is common ground. Sex has a more animalistic focus than it does a sensual one. I’ve seen this express itself as lots of touching but nothing that lingers because you’re to scattered sexually and wanting to explore everything like it’s the last time you’ll see it. Much like Saturn here obsession is noted but it’s handled better as both natives naturally give space rather than being forced to give one another space by outside forces.
