Ideally, tragedy won’t affect our prayer lives. We’d be praying just as much in times of tranquility as in times of trial.

With a very sad heart, I wanted to say goodbye to Spectrum’s Dongyoon. I offer my condolences to his family, friends and members during this hard time.

Although my time learning about you was short, I pray you are in a safe place and resting in peace. You did well. You certainly did light up the world. Farewell, you worked hard.

Can’t stress enough how important this is.

Especially now when we’re in this beautiful blessed month. Everything and I literally mean everything you’ve ever wished for, ever prayed for and almost given up on, can come true.

Allāh can make it happen.

Allāh, our beautiful Lord, who sees it all, knows it all and listens to His servants.

He sees every tear that falls, every painful breath you take and every thought you have. He knows. Wallahī He knows.

So please, pleasee don’t give up on that dream you have, or that trial you’re struggling with, or whatever it is that seems impossible, don’t quit making du’ā. Don’t stop knocking on His door, cuz He will open, wallahī He will.

Just be persistent, patient and put your trust in Him.
