Ideally, tragedy won’t affect our prayer lives. We’d be praying just as much in times of tranquility as in times of trial.

#Lastnight was so difficult I coughed most of the night my stomach was upset from the #antibiotics and I was so tired from #coughing it took me 40 minutes just to get out of my bed to go to the bathroom. I was feeling so sad because I really didn’t feel like I should be out of the #hospital although, #singingworshipsongs in my head and #praying a lot I got through it and was able to go to sleep at 5:30 this morning. Today I opened some mail and to my surprise there was all this beautiful @kyliecosmetics #makeup sent from two #clients for Christmas that I have read for many years but I’ve never actually met in person. I’m so touched by the #generosity and #kindness and #thoughtfulness. They said that They wanted me to have new makeup to start year off right ,I also got a beautiful gift card from another client that I also have never met in person but I’ve known for many years and a whole collection of beautiful greeting cards because I mentioned that Christmas cards make me happy and I still haven’t figured out who sent the greeting cards . Thank you from the bottom of my heart it brings me to tears because you have no idea what it’s like to feel so sick and alone in the middle of the night and today I feel so loved and #grateful I cannot wait to feel better to create with all this makeup to hopefully continue to inspire everyone the best I can! #pneumoniasucks #cancersucks #cancerwarrior #nevergiveup #makeupismypassion

Hello! First of all, I would like my post to be ignored by any bigot who can’t respect other religions because of the tag ‘praying’. Scroll.
Welcome to another post of mine! Today, I’ll be talking about praying. Now, most baby pagans get confused when this is the case. It’s not the same as they do in abrahamic religions. There are many ways to pray, and I would suggest you to find your own way. However, most Hellenists, Norse pagans, or the ones that worship one god from only one pantheon can research ways to pray. I will leave some resources at the end of my post.
Higher beings should be respected, so you can choose certain times of the day if you also want to stay disciplined. This will be a little hard, but that’s completely fine, you get used to it. Plus, you can add some formality inside. I veil most of the time, cleanse my space and kneel, especially if I’m going to ask for something from my Gods.
You can use prayer beads as well. Chanting their name, enn, anything. I find this useful with Dark Gods and demons, we don’t really worship demons, we just respect them. So, put everything that reminds you of them into the threat and there you go!
Praying is a good way to bond with deities as well. You can write your own ones to them and read it. One of the easiest way to talk to them obviously. Of course, don’t forget to make offerings but if you’re going to praise them, I don’t think it’s necessary.

My Heart Is Breaking…
Yesterday mine and my fiancé’s eldest dog (6years old) suddenly collapsed on her walk…She has problems with her back right leg but we never thought that it would get so bad she’d collapse.
After taking our new puppy for her vaccinations we took our eldest to get checked out…only to be told it’s either her spine or brain and it would cost thousands to even find out what happened…then more money for whatever treatment…if it’s even possible to treat.
After taking her home to see if she improves for today and she has not. She is in no pain and she is eating, drinking and sleeping but she can’t walk…I have done enough research and experienced enough life to know she has likely had a stroke and lost her ability to walk.
However as much as it could be that, without tests we can’t know and we can not afford it. And before anyone says don’t get a dog if you can’t afford it…shut up.
We have money to take care of dogs in a general way, if they get injured out on a walk or need anything like that but who buys a dog expecting them to have a stroke or anything that going to cost more than £10,000 and in this country having that kind of money is rare. I am not rich, I am a normal woman with enough money to survive this crappy world.
So…my heart is breaking because I want to save my baby girl but I cant. She may be a dog to most people but these dogs..they’re my kids and right now I am losing my eldest child.
Today we may have to put her down because the only thing she can’t do is walk. She’s eating, her tails waggling and she’s drinking but without the ability to walk (which with money we could fix) she can’t use the toilet.
So to my baby girl I am so sorry mummy and daddy can’t do more. I would do anything to keep her alive and help her…I love you Bonnie.❤️
