Hey everyone, I know I’m not super active on Tumblr anymore but I felt it was important to come on and let everyone know some extremely sad news. It’s with a heavy heart that @engramplays and I have learned of @phoenixfg‘s passing.
On December 9th she updated us on twitter she was back in the hospital, and a few days later she passed. We didn’t learn of this news until today, and I’m not going to lie the news hit me like a truck. It took me all day to be able to make this post.
We’re going to be preparing a fundraiser for her family over the next week or two, but in the meantime, I’d appreciate if people shared this post to get the news out. She touched so many people’s hearts and was such a positive force in any gaming community she was a part of, not the least of which was The Sims community.
I would love to encourage anyone who feels up to it to share a story of their own about her.
Thank you for letting us know, I worried when she went quiet. Phoenixfg was an incredibly positive and kind person. She was a friend across multiple platforms, always supportive and finding good in everyone and everything, even objectively horrible games ❤️

Thank you. This breaks my heart so much. She was such a sweet person and I got to know her on Tumblr. For that I am grateful. She’s with the ancestors now and I hope she’s at rest. I’m gonna miss her as well.
She always brought such good energy, she was nothing but a great soul to say the absolute. This breaks my heart so much. We didn’t talk much, we were mainly mutuals, but every interaction we had was so sweet and she was always so generous towards me. Rest in power angel

Still can’t believe at the loss of Miura, his art will inspire me for the rest of my days, how can anyone compare to such a master of Storytelling, design, illustration and much much more…

When we go—and we all will—when our lungs say hello to our final breath, our existence burst from the seams of our bodies, dispersing into the universe, we won’t be gone—not really, at least. When you go, no one will remember your darkness, or your battles, or every mistake you ever made; rather they will remember the times you made them laugh, or the feeling when you pulled them in just a little tighter for a hug. They will remember the look in your eyes the first time you picked up a guitar. When the times comes, no matter where your journey took you, no matter how many demons you fought, they won’t see any of it—they will see you, eating cool whip out of the tub at 2 in the afternoon, smirking, carefree, and—happy.
