LIVE

Dear God,

please give me a vision (or thank you for the vision you have given me) for what you want to accomplish through me. I pray that you will open my eyes, give me wisdom and guidance, and prevent me from putting the “cart before the horse.” Help me to wait when I should wait and to act when I should act. Thank you for finding me worthy, through the blood and righteousness of Christ, to be a child of yours and to be a participant in your plans for today.

I praise you God.

In Jesus’ name,

amen.

Meditation is going over YAH’S Truth in your Mind, and it causes you to BELIEVE, as the Scriptures says; Faith comes by Hearing and Hearing the Word of YAHUAH. So the More you Hear it and Speak it, the more it Increases your Faith (your Belief) it gives you Strength to your Mind.

… … … … … … … … … … … … … . .

• Sirach (Ecclesiasticus) 6:37 את Cepher

Let your Mind be upon the Ordinances of YAHUAH and Meditate Continually in His Commandments: He shall establish your heart, and give you Wisdom at your own desire.

• Psalms 1:1-3

[1] Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

[2] But his Delight is in the law of YAHUAH, And in His law he Meditates Day and Night.

[3] He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And Whatever he does shall Prosper.

… … … … … … … … … … … … … . .

If you are Pondering; thinking of something or thinking deeply in within yourself, You Are Meditating. Just Make sure you are Meditating Righteousness, things that is of YAHUAH.

And Remember when you are Meditating or Pondering, it says something about you. As the Scriptures says; as a man Think in his Heart so is he (Proverbs 23:7) and you should know that The Most High YAH look at your Heart and your Mind.

Therefore make sure in your everyday life, you have a Righteous Mindset towards others and the things you do (Examine Yourselves). Incase you are Struggling, Pray and Seek to the Most High to give you Understand to know the Truth so that the truth can set you free.

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.” - 1 Peter 5:6

A lot of times, we think that we are above everybody. What this cruel world is teaching us is that we must always be above anyone and we must always win in life. Most of the time, we then try to step on other people just to get whatever we want. The bottom line is, we don’t know the value of humility. We just don’t care whatever happens, or we don’t like it when people are above us. As much as possible, we wanna be on top of others. So, whatever it takes, we will take the top place.

However, we have to understand that God is always encouraging us to humble ourselves. No matter what other people reach, and we cannot have it, we must not compete but be humble. We need to show humility because just as God said, “Whoever will be the last, will be put to first.” Although this shouldn’t be our encouragement to humble ourselves because we are expecting to be praised in the end, this should be enough inspiration for us to remember that even Christ, who is our God, humbled Himself for us.

Now, the reason why God encourages us to humble ourselves is that God humbled Himself first. We as Christians need to reflect on the life of Christ. When we received Him as our Lord and Savior, we were given life through Him, and we will then receive Him not just as Savior but also as our Lord. So, if we receive Him as our Lord, we must also allow Him to have control of our lives. In doing so, we will then realize that as we reflect Christ, we must also reflect His humbleness. Now, part of this is the promise of our verse today that in due time, God will lift us up. Not because we are being humble in our own accord, but because we are reflecting Christ’s characteristics in our lives that we were able to humble ourselves.

Therefore, we must understand that it is really very important for us to receive Christ as our Lord and Savior first. Everything will be in place if we open our hearts to Him and let Him be our center. If we continue to live our lives in Christ, we must always reflect on Him. We must reflect His love, His humbleness, and His righteousness. Thus, we must never forget that we are blessed and that we will be lifted in due time because of God’s mighty hand. We are in good hands and we will be humbling ourselves as we serve Christ.

I have been in isolation for 6 days now I believe. I lost count.

its not a big deal because I am not sick

I am just not getting paid which is majority of what is annoying me.

During this time, I have caught up with all the sleep that I never had and I am feeling much better because I can think and read properly. I walk around all day when I work so that I have the energy. I don’t really drink coffee to keep me awake.

I also asked myself to do some journaling because I think I have a lot of subconscious anger and just a general jist of quick dissatisfaction to wards life sometimes when I have to interact with other people. I find it too easy to pass judgement than to let something slide.

Sometimes I don’t know if I stand more as a people pleaser or as someone who is so caught up in rules.

In my first year of proper work I do see myself slowly becoming like my mentors that just kinda have a short temper and get annoyed with everything real quick. But before that, I am a total people pleaser and just couldn’t care more or less if the whole world burns down.

Both have good and bad outcomes to be very honest. Its finding the balance or a better way of communication.

Anyways, be it rain or shine, I still do my quiet times in the morning. After writing up my notes I just fell asleep in the middle of a park by accident with all my possessions with me. I think its bad but Jesus is Lord.

I have the great joy of reading Romans 4 because it is helping me to just see why Abraham is such an example of great faith that is credited as righteousness.

Vs 19-22

Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why “it was credited to him as righteousness

I think I am in a similar situation whereby I am really just dead meat. I think I just have a big dreams of being able to work flexible hours so that I can live properly in this country and then have time to go to church and still have time to cook for myself on a daily basis. But right now, I am not even earning any money and I don’t even know where will I be working and whether or not I want to stay in England. This visa issue happens annually and just tests my faith a bit too much. I just have to keep praying and keep going.

Apart form that, just learning from Romans 3 that the law of faith and the law in general is meant to go hand in hand. To not practice one without the other in verse 27. I think that is very challenging because I shared that I am judgmental by nature, I need to give a lot more grace.

I think I have a lot more to say but I am gonna go now

JLPT: N1

School Grade: Junior high school

This character is a combination of ⺊ a variant of divination (crack) and 鼎 round kettle (here simplified as 貝). Here 鼎/貝 is a phonetic element signaling the on’yomi, but also being used to express “request/seek.” Originally 貞 meant to “seek to learn the will of the gods by divination.” Its current meanings of “chastity” and “virtue” are thought by some to be a borrowed meaning. Others believe it to be an extended meaning, as in “acting in a manner approved of by the gods.”

What has Adam’s guilt got to do with us? Why are we held responsible for his sin, when we were not even born when he committed it? Did not God say: “The parents will not die for the children, nor the children for the parents, but the soul which has sinned, it shall die.” How, then, shall we defend this doctrine [of original sin? Let us begin by affirming that] the soul [which] has sinned [shall] die. We [all] have become sinners because of Adam’s disobedience in the following manner: After he fell into sin and surrendered to corruption, impure lusts invaded the nature of his flesh, and at the same time [his nature was infected,] the ‘evil law’ of [all future mankind’s] members was born. For our nature contracted the disease of sin because of the disobedience of one man, that is, Adam, and thus many became sinners [by nature]. This was not because they sinned along with Adam, because they did not then exist, but because they had the same nature as Adam, which, [by failing to honor the law of God,] fell under the law of sin. Thus, just as human nature acquired the weakness of corruption 'in’ Adam because of [his] disobedience, [whereupon] evil desires invaded it, so the same nature was later set free by Christ, who was obedient to God the Father and did not commit sin– [restoring & preserving forever, through His sharing in human nature, the righteous purity that Adam lost].

Saint Cyril of Alexandria

How [do] we have access to grace through our Lord Jesus Christ? The Savior Himself tells us: “I am the Door,” and “No one comes to the Father except by Me.” …This Door is the truth, and liars cannot enter in by the door of truth. Again, this Door is righteousness, and the unrighteous cannot enter in by it. The Door Himself says: “Learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart.” So neither the irascible nor the proud can enter in by the door of humility and gentleness. Therefore, if anyone wants to have access to the grace of God– which, according to the word of the apostle, comes through our Lord Jesus Christ, and in which Paul and those like him claim to stand– it is essential that he be cleansed of all [vices, for all are opposed to Christ]. Otherwise, those who do what is contrary to Christ will not be allowed to go in by that Door, which will remain closed [against such corruption,] and [so justly] keep out those who are incompatible with Him.

Origen of Alexandria

warriormale:

Nude images of male athletes, gods and fighters could be found everywhere in ancient Greece.

Everywhere!

These images were displayed wherever people gathered, to serve as symbols of Areté or Manly excellence - to remind the ancient Greeks just how much they valued and cherished Areté.

These male nude images were symbols of Righteousness, that when a Man had Areté, that he was in total possession of his Manhood.

funny how when i started on being trans my end goal was post-serum captain america but a year and a half in i just wanna be mr rogers. gimme a comfy sweater and some cute magical friends to be nice to. that’s enough. today i saw a bat and made brownies. i used to think that righteousness was about violence and anger and now i think i’m finally done with that. righteousness can just be keeping a good home and finding things to laugh about and being kind even when the world is falling apart all around you. that’s good enough.
