SURGERY DAY! Today #Roux and #Toupee go into surgery to get spayed. I’ve been anxious about it all week, but I’ve been trying to surrender to it all. Please send some good energy their way! These two babies are very bonded and scare easily, so I’m pretty sure they might be nervous right now, but they have each other which makes me feel better. And can we look at Roux’s whisker game? It takes every bit of me not to gobble her up! I swear the name Potato suits her so well right??? And please no body shaming. Potato has always had a weight issue and per her vet, I put her on a diet to slim her down. But the scale just doesn’t move! HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! #Toupee and #Roux are obsessed with #Mizu - They see her as a mother figure and practically fight over who gets to sleep next to her! And as you can tell from the look on Mizu’s face, rambunctious kids can be exhausting!!! I’m so proud of Mizu, she’s taken on the role of mama so well! I love her so much! Today I honor all the beautiful #rattie moms out there! May your day be filled with lots of love, connection, kindness and #rat kisses! Happy Mother’s Day!!! PS- today as I was giving treats to the rats I said, “Guess what! It’s Mother’s Day today guys! Love me and praise me!” They all looked at me like I was crazy, grabbed their treats and ran off. YAWN, BOGGLES & LOVE.
My #babyrat #Toupee absolutely idolizes #Mizu - She follows her everywhere, copies her every move and sleeps with her every single night. Definitely a Stage Five Clinger! Since a very young age, Toupee would go underneath Mizu to try to get milk from her, so it looks like she sees Mizu as her mother? It’s so adorable and sweet!
At first, when #Toupée would follow her everywhere, Mizu would look up at me like, “Um, I didn’t sign up for this. I need my space!” But now, I’m so proud of Mizu. She is very patient with Toupee, let’s her crawl all over her and gives her kisses and boggles every day. By the way, for those who don’t know what boggling is, it’s when #ratties grind their teeth which makes their eyes move quickly in and out of their sockets … an action that typically means they’re very happy and content! It can also mean they’re not feeling well, but in this case, it’s clear that it’s nothing but pure #love and affection! God I wish I had a shrinking machine so I could crawl in there between them and join in on the love! Love you Meez and Toops! You melt my heart!

SLEEPY ROUX.
Ever watch your #rattie sleep and just MELT? #Roux is a very mischievous and playful #babyrat who is constantly popcorning all over the place - but when she plays hard … she sleeps hard!!! Look at her crossed little arms, rattie feet and yummy belly! It’s almost too much to handle! Roux gets scared very easily, so I’ve been giving her a lot of hoodie time and comforting her with lots of love and kisses. It looks like she’s finally starting to feel safe with me. Don’t worry Roux, I will always protect you little one. You don’t ever have to be scared again.

Aaaanyway again, im not really supporting the pride parade walks as it is overrated and it rather looks like lgbtq+ i tryint to look superior to straight, which isnt right either plus i usually see the parade full of people that dont seem to take lgbtq+ seriously but jsut like part of their “style” or whatever which is rather fake. And because im not really joining any type of these things, i didnt know about this month at ALL… but still as someone who trully feels biromantic, it should be only fair to shot it humbly with at least this lgbtq+ version of my avatar uvu No need to shove it down anyone’s throat with some parade, straight people dont do that too, do they? So a simple avatar should be enough uvu

As a sign of protest i changed my Angi the ratto avatar as well. It was impossible to put in the “eclipse” word into a square sign i originally planned to create there so instead i turned it into a circle sign with this ugly newer “DA” logotype which is connected with Eclipse design anyway so it will do its work.

Jokes about this pandemia were funny and still kinda are funny and also it is a way to release some stress and fear, BUT it does NOT mean we should be like “Oh, its a joke, im not going to wash my hands nor wear any mask.”
No. Be aware of this, anyone can catch it. But also do NOT panic. I did start to panic and break once it got into my country but thanks to my friends i was able to calm down and think straight about it again.
The best way we all can contribute to stopping this from spreading is:
-to wash your hands properly and often with antibacterial soap and desinfection
-don’t touch your face before washing hands
-wear mask when you go outside (best is with FFP3 filter)
-minimalise your time spent outside
-avoid being in bigger groups of people
-cover your mouth with your arm (not palm) if you yawn or sneeze
-if you wear mask that can be reused, don’t forget to wash and clean it. You can desinfect your mask by washing it in washing machine minimaly on 60°C and then iron it.
This is all that i do to keep myself safe. Sadly, i know that these homemade mask or medical paper masks are useless as it blocks only bacterias, not viruses, but still something is better than nothing. Good luck to everyone.
