Presenting our chosen charity, Save the Children!
We believe that children are the future of the world. They are the ones who will inherit what we will inevitably leave behind, and thus they have the right to proper education, safety, and to grow up healthy. And that is exactly what Save the Children was founded for.
Save the Children, while mainly based in the United States, works in over 100 countries, some of which have children in conflict and war zones. In 2019 alone, they were able to reach out to over 144million children in need.
As Mystic Messenger deals with a lot of issues in their characters that begin from their childhood, we believe that this is the prefect organization to hand the proceeds of the zine over to. For just one Full Bundle zine, you can already help 3 three children.

2014 Color Run in London, Wembley Park on Sunday. The event saw thousands of runners race 5km around the national stadium. As they ran, volunteers threw colourful powder at the runners. Save the Children acted as the official charity partner for the 2014 race.

We’ve hit 100 followers on this blog so that’s exciting! Thanks to everyone who’s getting involved and even more thanks to everyone who has donated to our justgiving page for Save the Children UK!
Save the Children do fantastic work helping kids in the UK and around the world receive the food, care, and education they need and their work is incredibly important, especially in the aftermath of the pandemic
- £39 could provide 3000 antibiotic tablets to treat critically ill families with cholera in Sudan
- £51 could provide a healthy baby kit containing vaccines for diarrhoea and pneumonia for families in Afghanistan
- £85 could provide a severely malnourished child with medicine and vital food at an outpatient clinic for a month in Ethiopia

American comedian Jimmy Kimmel responds to the evil massacre of American schoolchildren earlier this week in Texas, as well as of the teachers who tried protecting their pupils. Kimmel does not hesitate to identify the cowardly, law- and life-hating politicians whose inaction and excuse-making empower murderers. Apparently, the US has already had over 25 shootings this year, and six months have not even passed. Something is morally wrong with a society that can keep allowing these atrocities to occur.
STOP GUN VIOLENCE!
Yep, and we still have gun owners here in the UK. The difference is that it is far more difficult to get access to a firearm, and certain types are completely off-limits. Children in the UK are not doing active shooter drills, or wearing bulletproof backpacks, or suffering from PTSD after seeing classmates get shot. What kind of system or culture would allow such things to happen to the next generation by refusing to target the criminals?
American children are being punished for the cowardice, greed, and heartlessness of adults in authority who will not aggressively target the criminals.

If American politicians do not finally pass the necessary restrictions needed to punish would-be murderers, then the entire country is on its way to Hell. This lack of action is nothing short of sacrificing children to murderers so that politicians and businessmen can get rich. It is a scandal beyond all belief.
