It was a massive step forward for me, after the agoraphobia I developed last year, plus I gained a lot of weight. I’ve lost a bit of weight since the photos were taken, so when I first cast my eyes over the images, my self critical eyes were in overdrive. But this is me, and I find there’s something so raw and sensual about the images. They’re unapologetically saying, “this is me - take me as I am!” And I love them! In the past year, since starting the menopause, I’ve gained weight especially around my middle and my belly is bigger than it’s ever been.
