What a lovely bunch a pancakes!!! They looked amazing but didn’t quite have the taste or bounce that I was expecting (not the normal fluffy Japanese ones). The cafe was pretty lovely and the drinks are amazing!!! So many different choices and they all looked delicious.

Gotta have that boba fix! I’ve heard from so many people that Japan is having a tapioca craze. I’m so excited to go and take full advantage of that. While boba may taste the same some stores will have really delicious flavors and drink mixes. Let’s hope I try something new besides sticking with my normal orders of taro, matcha, or mango!

What’s your favorite drink? I loveeeeee coffee (much like a lot of the world). There are so many different places to get coffee and it’s fun for the most part to try all of them. I’ve had terrible coffee a lot, but luckily most of the ones I’ve tried are at least bearable. Some of the best coffee I had was in Indonesia. It was so delicious! And here is me making funny faces featuring my little sister!! The little sister who fell out of our front door the other day and sprained her ankle / torn a ligament. She is okay which is the most important thing. In the same day my dog bit my arm (thought it was the ball that he was trying to catch). What can make a better day than a day filled with doughnuts and coffee?

Good Town Doughnuts is easily accessible through Harajuku, Omotesando, and Meijijingumae stations and isn’t too far of a walk from any of them. It’s tucked in one of the cute side alleys and has some indoor seating (straight back as you walk in), as well as these tables I’m at, and one outside table. All in all, not too bad for a small shop!

They have a lot of tasty doughnuts, and also have a nice vegan selection of snacks and almond milk for coffee! I would recommend stopping by if you have the chance. :)

Everyone happy with the Super Bowl outcome?? I didn’t watch the game, but I was hoooooked on the half-time show plus the day of snacking.
Speaking of snacking …… We figured that we shouldn’t get anything too big since there were so many options of restaurants and snack places on this street! We settled for a scoop of pistachio gelato which was super delicious. 10/10 would eat again. Also, maybe would go for second scoop next time!

Diving the P 29 wreck in #Malta for my advanced wreck dive. Boltenhagen (GS09) was a Kondor I-class minesweeper. It was built in East Germany and disbanded before the reunification of Germany.

The “Devils Bridge” in Azalea and Rhododendron Park Kromlau was incredible. It is too bad you arent allowed to walk across it anymore, but I do understand why. It would be ruined rather quickly with all the wear and tear. But its a very cool treat to go see. The pond seems like it almost never gets disrupted, it stays so smooth for perfect reflections!

I have been wanting to visit this bridge for years! After we moved to Germany I looked it up and realized it was only about 4 hours away. So I finally planned a road trip to go up into Saxony and do some exploring around, and of course the Azalea and Rhododendron Park Kromlau made the top of the list!

The final Framus and Warwick products are beautiful! I am not a musician myself, but my husband is and I photograph live music (you can see those photos over on @paigeramseymusic ). So while I dont play, I have a huge appreciation for these works of art.

As we walked through we learned about the wood and the drying and the tiny details Warwick adds to make their guitars one of a kind. We also watched the racks of guitars slowly go from chunks of wood to sleek instruments still waiting to have even more detail work done to make them perfect.

Last weekend we decided to head up to Markneukirchen, Germany and visit the Framus & Warwick “factory”. It was so interesting to walk through and see step by step how theses amazing guitars are created. Check out this shot of a rack of guitars in the infancy… still mostly just a huge chunk of wood.
