It’s financially the worst time for so many people, and there have been so many deserving causes and charities and individuals that people have been helping for the past few months especially, so everyone understands if you just can’t right now, but even a dollar could help if you are in a position to donate that.
They have made it easier for guests to donate without downloading the app or creating an account on their website, it is a little buggy, I had to reload the page a few times but it definitely works! Many Lebanese people have mentioned that Red Cross is the only reputable charity that they would recommend donating too. There are gofundmes as well though! But as far as official charities there is a lot of information going around about corruption and the lack of faith in many government run organizations.
I know that it feels like there isn’t an end to the bad news, but we can be there for each other and try to help whenever and however we can. And that means that there’s good in the world, and sometimes you have to focus on that just so you can make it through dark days.
