Here is the turntable for SMB3′s Brick Block. I originally considered delaying this model because I thought a trophy of some blocks wouldn’t be very interesting, but I’m glad I changed my mind. I used the athletic theme for the music since it is one of my top favorite Mario tunes of all time.
I just realized I forgot to post the turntable for Magical Sweeper. Oops! Even though trophies are typically not animated, I wanted to show off the model’s intended color cycling. The color cycle is based directly on the original SNES sprites, but modified to fix the sudden jump in colors that happens partway through.

Happy MAR10 Day! Here is a fun little model one of my favorite games. A lot of Mario games have brick blocks in them, but none of them have the same distinct alternating pattern that Super Mario Bros. 3 had. They are also quite shiny!
The model may look simple, but it actually took a surprising amount of work. To compensate for the simplicity, I also made hollow and broken versions, all in three different levels of detail. Applying tidy UVs to every facet of every piece three times over is what took the most amount of time. The Goomba model isn’t mine, it’s just the one from Brawl, shrunk down.

Magical Sweeper

Game:Kirby Super Star
These rare magical entities can roll along the walls or float through the air, launching magic bullets at nearby fighters. Meta Knight kept a collection of them aboard the Halberd as a last line of defense, though these were easily converted by the Subspace Army. Consider these a more dangerous version of the Glire/Glice/Glunder family.
I have been on somewhat of a hiatus for most of the year, mostly putting aside all of my hobbies to focus on processing model submissions. For many months, I have been mentally planning this model, imagining the mesh structure and texture layouts and how to accomplish the color rotation effect. So, on the final day of my recent work vacation, I sat down and finally created it. I hope you enjoy the results! I am particularly proud of the high-tech Haltmann Works Co. version. The rainbow effect you see here is just a representation of how the model normally cycles colors.
