1. I personally thought Nesta’s redemption arc was BEAUTIFUL. I’m so happy she finally found her own friends/family and she overcame her fears and became a better person all together
2. I did not really like her and Cassian’s relationship thingy. Mostly because they were just having sex 75% of the time. And it felt a little bit all over the place. But honestly the mating part at the end was adorable and I fw that. PLUS the thought that Cassian and Nesta will have their own family is ADORABLE
3.Wtf was this plot? It confused me so much. But of course the book was supposed to be about Nesta’s improvement which makes sense
4. The sex scenes were ummmm… I get why Sarah said this would be her dirtiest book
5. I LOVED all the Feysand scenes. I cried so hard at the end when everyone thought Feyre would die. But the icing on the cake was when Rhys had got on his knees to thank her and Nesta got on her knees and gave him a hug
6. the one that made me explode: WTF IS RHYS’S LAST NAME?!!! they mention it in the bonus feysand chapter but THEY NEVER SAID WHAT IT WAS.
But anyways i absolutely loved the book like all SJM books.

Sarah had first announced this book on June 26th (which was about 8 months ago)
And since then we have been agonizingly waiting to see our favorite characters come back to life again. We can finally get to see how Nesta Archeron grows personally and physically, We get to see how she and Cassian will find love and peace together.

If she hadn’t known better, she might have thought he was fussing. Worried, even.
Yet when he’d seen [Aelin’s back], his heart had clean stopped — and for a moment, there had been an overwhelming silence in his mind. He felt his magic and his warrior’s instincts honing into a lethal combination the longer he stared — howling to rip apart the people who had done that with his bare hands.

And while she knew Rowan was aware of her early morning practicing, he never lightened her training, though she could have sworn she occasionally felt their magic … playing together, her flame taunting his ice, his wind dancing amongst her embers.
Rowan made her feel … better. As if she could finally breathe after months of suffocating.
She was not a queen. She had no plans to be one, and even if she had a kingdom to give him if he were free … Telling him all that was useless. So she left Rowan in the hall. But it did not stop her from wishing she could keep him.
And when she grasped the dagger, its weight lighter than she remembered, Rowan looked into her eyes, into the very core of her, and said, “Fireheart.”
And though she knew he could read the words on her face, she said, “To whatever end?” He nodded, and she joined hands with him, blood to blood and soul to soul, his other arm coming around to grip her tightly. Their hands clasped between them, he whispered into her ear, “I claim you, too, Aelin Galathynius.”
He was helping. And he was willing to meet a horrible fate in order to keep her alive. He hadn’t left her alone. She hadn’t been alone.
this is literally the moment their dynamic changes because aelin realises that he — though having seen her worst sides and unbearable manners — has stayed and hasn’t left her to fend for herself like all this girl ever needed was for someone to simply stay
I’m not going to on and on about this. I finished Kingdom of Ash and have been crying for 30 minutes now. A truly heartbreakingly beautiful end to a stunning and life altering series. I feel blessed to have read every dark, joyful and inspiring word on the page.
A better world is all we can hope and strive to achieve.

This actually made me cry. 45% into KOA and dreading the end. Not because of how, but because there is an end.
Last post until post read. I took the day off on Tuesday so I can finish Kingdom of Ash in one day. It’s so self indulgent, and I couldn’t be happier! Plus total support from family. Now if only Midnight 10/23 would come.

Tamlin may have slut shamed Feyre for sleeping with Rhys, but the entire Court of Dreams shamed Nesta in ACoFaS. Even though a good part of it was just Feysand smut. And, Cassian kept going after her even after she rejected him, because he apparently can’t take a no ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
