Rereading Empire of Storms and once again notice a difference between Rowan and Lorcan regarding their paramours… When Elide is close to breaking from despair, Lorcan offers her pleasantries and comforts, the bed, a bath, a tin of salve for her leg. He talks about trying to use kindness to make her want to help him, be grateful to him.

Then there’s Rowan who sees Aelin about to snap and is like “Lol backflip bitch”

Everyone talks about what a cold hearted bastard Lorcan can be, but pre-QoS Rowan is 1000 times more of a prick lol

• Nesryn: controversial VSCO girl, owns a metal straw but knows how to hunt;
• Aelin: hot blonde girl™, has been mistaken with L#ren Gr£y several times;
• Yrene: doesn’t do tiktok since the time some teenagers made of her video dacing with her friends in their uniforms;
• Lorcan: never used tiktok in his whole life, and refuses to, but, if you look for it, there is a vine of him and the Cadre wasted, he was a meme for a while;
• Aedion: never got over tiktok cringe phase, but at least, he has good transitions;
• Chaol: just like Yrene, gave up tiktok long time ago, because of the same reason;
