#trevor project
Congratulations to Carl Nassib who publicly announce he was gay during Gay Pride Month 2021. This makes him the first active NFL football player to announce he was a homosexual.
Although other NFL players have revealed they were gay after retiring, such as Dave Kopay and Michael Sam, Nassib is the first to still be playing (a defensive end for alas Vegas’ Raiders).
Reaction has been supportive, from the NFL, the Raiders, and teammates. The public showed it support by buying jerseys with Nassib’s name and number - out selling all other jerseys the day of his announcement.
Nassib plans to donate $100,000 to The Trevor Project, an organization dedicated to providing crisis intervention to LGBTQ youth.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
THE STAY TOONED ZINE IS OUT! @staytoonedzine
My assigned cartoon was Batman Beyond. Buy the full zine here to be blown away by everyone’s beautifully rendered nostalgia: https://staytooned.gumroad.com/l/IKoyZ Funds go towards the Trevor Project
Guess who’s doing a 24 live stream for the Trevor Project? Guess who hit 2K after 20 minutes?
Dawko! If you wish to donate and maybe win prizes or just help a great cause then come join! He’ll be playing a bunch of games FNAF and Fanmade, Pokemon Pack opening, Among Us, Mario Kart/Party/Golf and maybe Ratchet and Clank, Friday Night Funkin, Roblox or Fortnite!
Join here!
EDIT: 4 hours in and someone by anonymous donated 50K dollars to the Trevor Project. A big donator that always comes to help Dawko’s streams. T'was Scott Cawthon himself. Everyone believes it’s him. Thank you so much Scott, we all miss you and appreciate all you’ve done for years. Even with the circumstances, I really hope you enjoy retirement. #thankyouscott
It’s over, and Dawko with our help raised 81K for Trevor Project. I’ve been awake for 28 hours to watch it just like his last stream with WWF. Thank you all who’ve donated and everyone who was there deserves a pat on the back. I’m going to bed now. I’m tired as heck. 81,124.01 dollars raised. Thank you fnaf community.

Coming June 6th: The Drunken Geek’s First Charity Livestream! — The Drunken Geek Podcast
We at The Drunken Geek are very pleased to announce that on June 6th, 2021, to kick off Pride month, we will be having our first ever live-streamed game to raise money for a cause very important to all of us: The Trevor Project.
Founded in 1998 by the creators of the Academy Award®-winning short film TREVOR, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ) young people under 25. You can learn more about The Trevor Project and their mission by visiting the link above.
For this stream, we will be playing a session of the teen superhero game Masks: A New Generation by Brendan Conway and Magpie Games. Masks is a game featuring teenaged superheroes learning for themselves who they are in a world that seeks to define their identity for them. A prelude session will be released as a regular episode leading up to the stream as well.
Also, if that’s not enough to entice you to come watch our superheroic shenanigans, we will giving away a set of dice by our friends at HeartBeat Dice during the stream!
We’ll see you on the 6th!
House of Representatives; Malcolm Kenyatta and Matthew Jordan-Miller Kenyatta, Ph.D.
