You know I usually don’t do this kind of thing on this blog, but I am working on a very cool indie film right now and just started setting up our blog. It would mean a lot to me if you guys would head over and give us a follow @fallbackdown!!
It’s going to be a dope punk romcom, we have lots of experienced kickass women on board for our crew (I’m the Art Director) and we are pushing for authenticity, diversity and inclusivity. The more people support us, the better we can make this movie!
Our tumblr is just starting out so I am actively looking for cool blogs to follow too. So if you are a punk, a goth, an activist, an artist or maker, someone who maybe loves cats, succulents and witchy things, if you are a POC, queer, trans or an oddball, or maybe just someone who digs our style and wants to do a good deed today: reblog and follow @fallbackdown.

As a young person who recently graduated college, my hope is that women can start focusing on something other than appearances - like career building and education. Like, why are we still talking about appearances so much and still placing so much value on the body? Like, wear makeup if you want or don’t. Wear a bra or dont. Dress like a hobo or go all out like Blake Lively, but at the end of the day, please remember that we are so much more than our bodies. Pursue your dreams. Turn your passion into a career, and stop being a slave to an industry (i.e. the beauty industry) that really only wants your money. You are so, so much more than that; I guarantee it!
