If you read the hit pieces on Michael Brown (referred to as Mr. Brown by the NYTeven though he was just 18 years old), you realize that this system is one which creates falsity and lies in order to defend the ability of white supremacist pigs to murder unarmed children on the street.
This is Curtis. This is where Curtis lives, Bankhead Avenue abandoned bridge, Atlanta Georgia, USA. I spoke with Curtis for a few minutes before i photographed him. He had a surprisingly positive attitude despite being destitute. He told me being homeless wasn’t easy but if there were a good place to live, this was it. The bridge provided him solid housing, a tropical climate in a remote location, and nice tourists coming by with cameras and taking pictures of him. With food nearby, and an incredible view of the city, he seemed fairly content with his situation. We judge and shame people for living like this, but Curtis has done a good job turning a bad situation into something he can call his own. If there was a lesson in all of this, its that perspective and a positive attitude can get you though anything.
-On February 23rd two white men chased down a young black man who was simply jogging down the street. They chased Ahmaud down with their truck, armed and ready. Once they cut Ahmaud off with their truck a fight ensues and Ahmaud, who is unarmed mind you, is gunned down and shot more than once. Several recent break ins in the area fueled this profiling of this young black man. These two men have not been charged and held accountable for taking Ahmauds life. COMPLETE BULLSHIT. THIS MAKES ME SERIOUSLY SICK. This could be me, could be any of my minority friends. Its not right that two white men refused to call the police and take wrongful action into their own hands. They had no right. We need the everyone to join and pressure the police to take action. I suggest you see the video of Ahmauds life being stripped from him for yourself and let your voice be heard. Theres also a petition with hope to pressure our justice system and hold these two racist accountable with their racist actions.

The fact that Mitch McConnell told USA Today on May 6 that a NATIONAL ABORTION BAN orchestrated by a Republican Congress is “possible” should permanently end any chance of a 2022 GOP takeover of Congress, and if it doesn’t I’m frankly left without any explanation as to how or why.
There is something we have to do in order to support our black communities. Not only is our youth at stake because of the color and skin and features, but are told on a daily what we don’t have or need due to being black. This is rediculous and going too far. Something has to be done to protect our youth from future offensors.
People need to stop suing the police dept and the city and start suing the police union. The reason nothing ever happens most times is cause cops can and do have the union at their defense. If the police union had to start suffering financially due to police conduct and actions they would stop defending so many cops that dont deserve to wear the badge.
Alternatively what needs to be done is cops should be required to have degrees. Too many of these cops aren’t qualified to handle people and the situations they answer calls to. Having more qualified individuals won’t end the systematic racism but it would take those that are unqualified for the job in the first place outta rotation.

It’s up to us to teach our young black students about all the wonderful things black people have accomplished. The harm done by the education system on black students self esteem can be deadly. We must reverse the self-hating trend. White men have not accomplished many of the things the school system teaches our children and its up to us for them to be able to see through the lies. In 1992, after the Rodney King beating, OGs from the Crips and Bloods in the Watts district of Los Angeles met to end the violence that was happening in their communities. Black people everywhere were angry about the Rodney King verdict and decided it was time to act. Hundreds of Bloods and Crips would meet in a gymnasium and declare a ceasefire against each other. They had realized that the police were the real enemy. The gang leaders would also create a sports league for the community. Hundreds of black men and women from the bloods and Crips no longer looked at each other as enemies. They partied together and played on sports teams together. The peace Treaty ended over 30 years of gang violence and the homicide rate dropped 44%. After the Watts treaty, several Latino gangs and many more black gangs all over California began to adopt a similar peace treaties. The Watts treaty lasted for several years before the LA police would infiltrate the movement and cause chaos. This is Black History that they do not teach in schools. This is what they will never tell you about black gangs. The LA Gang Truce was a symbol of hope to the black community and today it remains that. We do not need white people to help us solve any of our problems. We have the potential to be a mighty people. The violence in our communities can stop.
