My favorite coat color for Great Danes is MERLE! I love its infinite variations and how absolutely unique each pattern is.

I struggled to make these coyotes look like coyotes! They are like a wolf, and like a fox as well…and a little too much either way pushes them to look off. In the end I’m still not completely happy with the results, but I think this batch is as cooked as its going to get. I may try to make their faces sharper next time around…hmm

Happy Chinese New Year everyone! This year is a good excuse to draw so many good doggos. Saw lots of cny goods featuring only pugs and shiba inus, so I decided to include other Chinese dogs that don’t get featured often! (Top left to bottom right: Chow chow, Tibetan Mastiff, Shar-pei, Chinese Street Dog, Chinese Crested Dog and Pekingese)

Made this illustration as a submission for @zestydoesthings‘ Creature Feature theme. This was also partially inspired by the traditional chinese medicine shops i used to go to with my mother to buy soup ingredients. I’ll never get tired of that good ol’ pungent herbal smell and flavour
