I am so grateful to Blanime_art, an awesome black creator on Instragram for this wonderful commission of me in the armor that was described in my creative writing, “Gird for Battle.” I wanted to share it with y’all because you are all awesome!

Assorted recommendations!

I haven’t thoroughly reviewed all of these myself yet but they were recommended by friends and I’m putting them here for both my future reference and just to share.

No safety goggles required for this first look at Netflix Jr.’s “Ada Twist, Scientist”

“The Questioneers” book series, written by Andrea Beaty with illustrations by David Roberts, takes on a new look in this CG-animated childrens’ series from “Doc McStuffins” creator Chris Nee.

“Ada Twist” is one of two animated shows by Brown Bag Films for Netflix and Nee’s Laughing Wild production company; “Ridley Jones,” a preschool adventure show, hit the streaming service this summer.

The Obamas’ Higher Grounds co-produced “Ada Twist, Scientist” and Netflix’s adult animated series “We The People.”
