So, I just finished Normal People, and all I can say is that we didn’t connect. This book has won so many awards, well liked by so many people and yet here I am, sitting on my bed and wondering what am I missing? I’m so confused. This book is very dull and lifeless. I couldn’t care less about any of the characters. Every time I was waiting and hoping for something to happen, but each time nothing happens. I don’t get it. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Twenty years ago, I was 10 years old and was the prime age to grow up with Harry. Unfortunately, I didn’t start the series until much later in life, only a couple of years ago. And yet, I know I was able to appreciate so much more of the series by reading it for the first time as an adult.
