Got my Pfizer booster shot yesterday, so between the fever and the body aches this has pretty much been my weekend.
This book has given me all the feels. I have a pile of “to be read” books but can’t start on them because of this novel.

We’ve made it to Wednesday! I hope you are all having a good week. Today is my day off and I am hoping to spend it reading *The Atlas Six* and catching up on all the things. What are you up to today?
And have you DNFed any books this year? How do you decide to not finish a book? I don’t think I’ve DNFed any books this year … I’ve set more than a few aside, but I definitely intend to get back to them. I’ve actually only DNFed a handful of books in all the years I’ve been reading. I always say that I’m going to DNF if I am not enjoying a book, but I always end up reading it anyways, because I’m always wondering if it will get better. Sometimes I end up regretting that decision, but sometimes it does get better. I think it helps that I’ve been a lot picker about what I read lately as well. Instead of reading ALL the books, I’m just choosing books that sound interesting to me, and I think that helps. What about you guys?

Do you have a favorite genre at the moment? Romance and fantasy are still my two most favorite genres, but I have recently started reading some historical romance, and I’m really getting into it! I’m also still craving all the mystery and thriller books, so I need to work some of those onto my tbr as well. What about you guys? What genres are you loving at the moment??

Happy Monday, Bookworms! How was your weekend? Did you get lots of reading done?? My weekend was pretty good! I actually finished a book AND I got to see all of my family yesterday. It was a good weekend. How was yours??
And today let’s talk about our last, current, and next reads! I haven’t read much lately, but I recently finished *Gallant* and two Lisa Kleypas books. Today I’m hoping to read a bit more of *Loveless* by Alice Offman, and next I’m determined to read *The Atlas Six* by Olivie Blake. I keep picking it up, but haven’t been able to focus on it, so I may try the audiobook instead. What about you guys? What are your last, current, and next reads??

What was your last 5 star read?? And, how do you decide if a book gets 5 stars??
Good Thursday Morning, Bookworms! Today is one of those days where I have no idea what day it is. I’m so tired, y’all.
Have you read any 5 star reads this year? If so, which books have you loved? (Because I’m totally going to buy some of them. ) Confession: I hate rating books. I hate having to choose between 1-5 stars. Basically, I either didn’t like a book, liked it, or REALLY like it. A 5 star read for me would probably be a book that WOWs me … which hasn’t happened in a while. (NOT because of the books I’m reading, but totally because I’m in a funk.) How do you guys decide how to rate a book? And, what were your last 5 star reads?
And did you guys see that the *Heartstopper* is coming to Netflix this month? I am so excited to watch! (Though, I always say this and never end up watching anything. ) The series is so good, I’m curious to see how the adaptation will do. And I’m hoping to start *Loveless* today!

Happy Wednesday, fellow book lovers! How’s your week going so far? Mine has been a little crazy and I am beyond ready for the weekend.
Do you have any favorite kinds of rainy day reads? I love curling up with a cute romance when it’s raining outside. Add in a warm drink and it’s the best kind of reading day. Yesterday would have been a great rainy reading day … instead I had to go to work. I couldn’t even take a photo before I left because it was so dark and stormy out, so the photo above is a repeat from earlier this year. But it’s some of my favorite romances, so I’m not stressing. Happy Tuesday, Bookworms! Did you know that this week is National Library Week?? It is! Even though I have my own little library, I still use the library a LOT, and am a member at a few different ones in my area. They are ALL Amazing! I don’t visit much in person lately, but I do check out their online content all the time. (Seriously, ALL the time.) They are so great, and so appreciated! I love the library so much. Happy Monday, Bookworms! We’ve officially passed the halfway mark for May, (how?!), and it’s reading update time! Are you having a good reading month so far? Mine has been pretty meh so far, BUT … I did have a really great reading weekend this past weekend, which was nice, and much needed. Hopefully I can keep that vibe going for the rest of the month and find some more time to read as well. One book I’m definitely planning to start this week is *I Kissed Shara Wheeler*, and I’m super excited to finally read it. I hear great things about the book. How many books do you own?? Or, how do you like to organize your bookshelves??
Happy Sunday, Bookworms! Do you know how many books you own? Last time I counted, (and that was sometime last year), I own well over 1,000 books. I’ve added a lot more since then as well. As you can see above, the stacks and stacks of books are getting a little out of control. But, I am planning to do an unhaul soon and I will hopefully have a few boxes worth to send to donations. And I try to organize my shelves by genre and author, but it doesn’t always work out the way I want it to. What about you guys? Do you know how many books you own? And how do you organize your shelves?

We’ve made it to Friday, Bookworms! Do you have any fun reading plans this weekend? What book (or books) are you currently reading? Or hoping to read? I usually have Friday’s off, but as of this week I’m officially starting to work Friday’s as well, so no reading until later for me. But, I am hoping to spend a huge chunk of the rest of the weekend reading! I’m not having the best reading month so far, so if I could spend the weekend catching up on all the books I’ve started this month, that would be great! *Book Lovers* is one I definitely want to finish this weekend. Happy Monday, Bookworms! Have you picked out or started your first read of May? I have already devoured my first book of the month. I listened to the audio of *The League of Gentlewomen Witches* yesterday and it was absolutely delightful! Just the book I needed to hopefully get me started on a great reading month. Today I am starting my reread of *The Kiss of Deception* and I can’t hardly wait to be back in one of my most favorite worlds! I imagine I will be getting through this book very quickly as well. I started a whole bunch of different books this month, but only finished 3 of them, and 2 novellas as well. *Gallant* is the only physical book I read, the rest were ebooks and audiobooks.
