May is almost here, which means it’s almost time for #AlltheBooksMay22! Are you guys ready for a brand new book challenge??

Book challenges are great for so many reasons. Not only do they give you ideas for posts, but they also help you share your love for books, discover lots of awesome new books, and ways to interact with fellow bookworms as well!

To join along, just share a photo for each daily prompt using the monthly hashtag. Check the hashtag to see all the photos that have been shared for the challenge by fellow Bookworms. (You can also *follow* the hashtag to have posts from the challenge show up in your feed!) Feel free to post and interact as little or as much as you like.

Helpful Bookstgram Tips:
• Take a few days worth of photos at a time. It helps to have extras available if you get busy. Also, drafting out your posts ahead of time really helps as well.
• Natural lighting is great! Grab a book and head to your nearest window for some awesome lighting.
• Interact! It’s a great way to discover new books AND new people too!

Happy Monday, Bookworms! We’ve officially passed the halfway mark for May, (how?!), and it’s reading update time! Are you having a good reading month so far? Mine has been pretty meh so far, BUT … I did have a really great reading weekend this past weekend, which was nice, and much needed. Hopefully I can keep that vibe going for the rest of the month and find some more time to read as well. One book I’m definitely planning to start this week is *I Kissed Shara Wheeler*, and I’m super excited to finally read it. I hear great things about the book. I’m not sure what else I’ll be reading this weekend, but hopefully it will be something great. So, how’s your month going so far? And what are you reading this week??

How many books do you own?? Or, how do you like to organize your bookshelves??

Happy Sunday, Bookworms! Do you know how many books you own? Last time I counted, (and that was sometime last year), I own well over 1,000 books. I’ve added a lot more since then as well. As you can see above, the stacks and stacks of books are getting a little out of control. But, I am planning to do an unhaul soon and I will hopefully have a few boxes worth to send to donations. And I try to organize my shelves by genre and author, but it doesn’t always work out the way I want it to. What about you guys? Do you know how many books you own? And how do you organize your shelves?

We’ve made it to Friday, Bookworms! Do you have any fun reading plans this weekend? What book (or books) are you currently reading? Or hoping to read? I usually have Friday’s off, but as of this week I’m officially starting to work Friday’s as well, so no reading until later for me. But, I am hoping to spend a huge chunk of the rest of the weekend reading! I’m not having the best reading month so far, so if I could spend the weekend catching up on all the books I’ve started this month, that would be great! *Book Lovers* is one I definitely want to finish this weekend. Q: What’s your least favorite genre to read?

Happy Wednesday, book lovers! Do you have a least favorite genre? Mine is probably horror. I am not a fan of being scared, so I don’t read the genre very often. I do enjoy the not-too-scary types of books, mostly around Halloween time, but if it’s super scary, count me out. Above are a few that I actually enjoy though! Happy May the 4th Bookworms! Are you a Star Wars fan? Confession: I just recently watched all the movies for the very first time last year (or maybe the year before). I liked them, but I’m definitely more a fan of The Mandalorian. I love Grogu so much! Are you guys fans?

And have you read any books that are set in space? I had to think about this one, because I’ve not really read many! I totally could have used *The Martian* for this prompt, but I happened to remember this *Starbound* series by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner, so I went with it. It’s been a long while since I read the first book, but I think it was set in space. I definitely need to do a reread of the series soon, as I don’t think I ever finished the last book. Happy Monday, Bookworms! Have you picked out or started your first read of May? I have already devoured my first book of the month. I listened to the audio of *The League of Gentlewomen Witches* yesterday and it was absolutely delightful! Just the book I needed to hopefully get me started on a great reading month. Today I am starting my reread of *The Kiss of Deception* and I can’t hardly wait to be back in one of my most favorite worlds! I imagine I will be getting through this book very quickly as well. And do you have any fun reading habits?? I’ve recently started playing ambient soundscapes from YouTube while I’m reading, and it’s so nice to have something soothing playing in the background. I really enjoy rain and seasonal ambience the most. Do you have any fun reading habits??

What books are you hoping to read in May??

Happy first day of May, Bookworms! Are you guys ready for a brand new month of reading? May is going to be a great month for new releases! I have quite a few of them on my reading list for this month. And there are just SO many others books that I want to read this month as well, I’m having a hard time picking which to go with. Part of me wants to do a Cozy Murder Mystery May theme, but I also want to read all the new romance I got recently, and catch up on my TBR from previous months, and read the books I started but haven’t finished, AND read all the new releases … I definitely have way too many options. I am for sure starting my yearly reread of *The Remnant Chronicles* this month and I am SOOOO excited to get back to one of my most favorite worlds! And did you have a good reading month? Mine was very meh. I started a whole bunch of different books this month, but only finished 3 of them, and 2 novellas as well. *Gallant* is the only physical book I read, the rest were ebooks and audiobooks.
