What I wanted: to know what utter chaos happens next in Alex’s life
What I got: more and much, much darker chaos than expected! Stuff really went downhill and I’m not sure how he will recover and get himself out of this mess. This wasn’t my favorite Verus book- I like it, when my boy triumphs at last or when he is able to outwit everyone… and that just wasn’t what this book is about. Don’t know, if i can handle the next part. Honestly I’m a bit afraid for their future.
