After defeating Ultimatum; Miles Morales and Shift were shown around the void when Ultimatum reluctantly agrees in helping them to find the missing Prowler. As they reached the portal area, Ultimatum pushes Miles and Shift into the portal and says “Adios, sucker!” before the portal closes. When the duo wake up in darkness, they find the glow which shows how the event played out. It showed the fight between Miles Morales and Selim except that it ended differently with Selim killing Miles, Mindspinner and Shift as well as taking Miles’ baby sister as his prize. Without Miles Morales and the two clones to stop him, Selim had taken over New York and turned it into dystopia. Miles Morales and Shift had landed in the dystopian alternate reality where Selim ruled as a dictator.
While I have been known to mainly focus on Barcelona the team on my personal blog it is no secret it has never been my team. It was a team I used to respect and admired because of what the institution used to represent. But mainly I followed their games because of Xavi. I still love and admire him. He’s an amazing player and love his honesty both for life and football. The passion he feels for his team is what I feel for mine even though I don’t play in it nor do I actually play the sport… though I tried and failed badly lol
Anyway, this blog was dedicated to that passion. However, my beloved teams have always been Juventus and Club America (Mexico). This post is about Juventus though. I didn’t have anyone to share my passion for this team so I mainly watched matches alone. No online friends who felt the same way as me. Until recent years that is.
Since I was a child and first became aware of Juventus I became in love. I saw things in this team and with players I had not seen before and haven’t seen since. Being far away and with a language I can mainly understand when spoken only it has been hard to follow up on players and interviews but that never mattered. I love this team with such a passion I tend to lose sleep over it. Sometimes because I have to be up at 3 am to watch matches and sometimes because I’m so nervous about certain matches.
Passion& Frustration
I have felt just about every feeling there is to feel during my years of following Juventus. Well known scandals that made me feel ashamed for my team but weirdly enough it didn’t cause me to turn my back on them like so many others. I don’t feel proud of that moment and nor think its okay to do it. Took me a while to forgive but also feeling loyalty to the history of the club.
Now in recent days after our last champions league final I have felt kind of the same. Confusion as to what happened to our players after halftime. Something definitely happened but no one is saying anything. Its impossible to play such an amazing first half and completely give up on the second on a final.
What frustrates even more though is the so called supporters turning their backs on players who have done nothing but fight and taken this team to where it is now. To say its all Allegri’s fault we lost and some saying he does it on purpose. Who wants to lose a champions league final? Why? One thing is to point out bad performances by individual players and another to say they need to go forgetting all the hard work done in a year.
All I say is respect players’ overall work and respect the team you claim to love and support. Juventus has been making history with the help of Allegri and its so ugly how many are treating him and blaming him yet never have they thanked him for all the good things he has accomplished. So fast they forgot the trophies won. Some as recent as a few weeks ago.
Juventus
I love you. I respect you. I will follow you always.
When you think of fantasy tabletop game art in the 1980s, you think of Bill Willingham, who did some of the best art in the D&D Expert and Basic Set (e.g. the baby blue and bright slim red books with Erol Otus cover art).
But did you know that Bill Willingham actually wrote some adventure modules himself?ForVillains and Vigilantes, a game that has the distinction of being the first superhero tabletop RPG, though it was vastly overshadowed by Champions a few years later. But even in the early 80s, it was still put-putting along, and it had Bill Willingham going for it: he not only wrote the module but provided great comic-style art to introduce concepts in them. I wonder why more adventure modules done by artists haven’t tried that.
Bill Willingham liked the characters in his tabletop adventure modules so much that, when he created his own creator owned comic, Elementals, he brought the baddies from this module to it.

May 23rd - Dust
Sooraya Qadir is a young Mutant who was born in Kandahar,Afghanistan. She discovered in her youth that she possesses the X-gene and was bestowed the ability to transform her body into a pliable cloud of dust-like particles. She can control these particles with great precision, allowing her a degree of shapeshifting, a great resilience to injury and the capability to generate waves of dust that have both defensive and offensive capacities.
One day the young woman was accosted by a would-be slave trader who attempted to abduct her and tore off her traditional niqāb. Instinctively, Sooraya lashed out with her powers, creating a torrent of sand-like dust that effectively flayed her attacker.
Accused of murder, Sooraya was rescued by the X-Men who were alerted to her plight by way of Cerebro. Not seeing much choice in the matter, Sooraya accepted the X-Men’s offer for her to relocate to the United States and enroll in the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters. She took on the alias of Dust and trained to better control her powers alongside her fellow young Mutants. It took her some time to adjust to the very new world of super heroes; she was especially taken aback by the immodest nature of her colleagues’ tight-fitting costumes. Still, her fellow students came to accept her regardless of her differences and so too did she become accepting of them.
After numerous adventures alongside the X-Men, Dust decided not to become a citizen of the Mutant nation of Krakoa, choosing instead to act as a member of the young superhero team known as The Champions.
Dust first appeared in the pages of New X-Men Vol. 1 #133 (2002).
