Warrior Wishes Holiday Cards
I’m doing a thing for the holidays! And I know it’s kinda early, but I wanna start sending cards out at the beginning of November!
This time of year can be really difficult for many people, so I’ve designed cards with lots of love to remind you that you’re important and cared for this holiday season! Each card will come with a hand-written message and some small fun stuff, like stickers, sticky notes, bandages, and other stuff like that.
You can sign up to receive a card yourself or you can nominate another warrior! Open worldwide! I have a limited number of cards available though, so be sure to sign up right away!

I was recently yelled at by a man driving by as I was walking into a Starbucks after parking in a handicap spot. “Liar! Liar!” My first thought was “you weenie come back and say that to my face!” Then the shame set in. For awhile I felt guilty of…something. I know I’m sick but I know I don’t look sick, so maybe I don’t deserve my placard? It’s confusing and I understand. But then I reminded myself that 96% of chronic illnesses are invisible. Just because I look fine doesn’t mean my illness goes away or isn’t serious enough to be disabling. It’s not me that’s somehow confusing or misleading, it’s society and our expectations and stereotypes. Sick doesn’t have a look and neither does disabled. This idea that to be valid your illness or disability must be visible is ludicrous when you learn how many people are suffering from something unseen. Society needs a major reform in many ways, but especially with respect to its treatment and expectations of chronically ill and disabled people. What we really need is to just stop being so dang judgmental in general! Was it ever any of his business where I parked or if I “deserved” my license plate? No sir! All that I ask of people at this point isn’t even kindness, just neutrality or even indifference! Let me be! Can I just get my chai in peace?!

#TransformationTuesday I just felt I had to share this since I got my Facebook memories today and I had been so happy 3 yrs ago when I had done 20kg on leg press. It really made me stop for a moment and think about this path I’ve been on for a bit over 3yrs now. So much has happened. My body has changed so much. My whole mindset has changed so much. My eating habits have changed a lot (I still love and eat bread tho’, haha). It has been bumpy ride with setbacks, but nothing worth having comes easy. My body is strongest it has ever been (and at the same time my lungs are shittiest they have ever been). I might not have six pack that you can see from 2 kilometers away, but it doesn’t matter to me. I have strong legs, strong arms, strong mind, I feel happy in my body and that matters to me the most. New week ahead. Feeling good, taking these good, positive vibes and letting them guide me through another week of working hard, both at work and at the gym. I feel like I am living my life to the fullest at the moment. Happy with my life right now and excited where it is taking me. I’ve been smashing my goals, little by little, one step at a time and now my eyes are on that final goal, gaining that one last kilo. Satiesfied, but not settling. Not letting my illness stop or define me. I am more than my illness.

Cosplay Commissioner:
As some of you guys know I am a Freelance Cosplay Commissioner. I rely on Cosplay Commissions for half of my income. The other half is my Freelance Photography and Film Making based Work. Being a creative person in the sector of the arts is extremely important. Due to the Pandemic, I am unable to carry some Commissions out. I am also unable to apply for Govement funding! Therefore my income has dropped. I am also chronically ill and rely on creative work that I can manage.
Please be considerate of people in the Arts. How much time goes into a Commission. Paying their labour and time. Having each Commission personalized. You are receiving a Finalized end product. Not a cheap Factory bulk built item.
Also please give Credit to your Artists and Commissioners. I’ve had countless Clients NOT credit me. Treat me with no respect. Not pay me for Items. Not pay so much towards a Commission and I’ve had to fork out for things myself. I’ve even had abuse from Clients and even Clients passing off my work as their own! Please treat Artists with respect. We’re doing a job for you.
