#TransformationTuesday I just felt I had to share this since I got my Facebook memories today and I had been so happy 3 yrs ago when I had done 20kg on leg press. It really made me stop for a moment and think about this path I’ve been on for a bit over 3yrs now. So much has happened. My body has changed so much. My whole mindset has changed so much. My eating habits have changed a lot (I still love and eat bread tho’, haha). It has been bumpy ride with setbacks, but nothing worth having comes easy. My body is strongest it has ever been (and at the same time my lungs are shittiest they have ever been). I might not have six pack that you can see from 2 kilometers away, but it doesn’t matter to me. I have strong legs, strong arms, strong mind, I feel happy in my body and that matters to me the most. Kinda back to normal… Let’s all appreciate high waist shorts/leggings for this sort of situations.

Past 2 weeks was pretty miserable. I’ve been on hormone therapy for 3 months. To help make life easier and function without having hot flashes, body aches, migraines etc being I do have a endocrine issue. Come to find out, when I went to my doctor. My body has not been adjusting well. Nope, dumb thing has been fighting it. Explains a lot of the: up and downs, not feeling well, moodiness, just extremely nasty, aggressive and annoyed. I have NOT been feeling myself. She decided to change up something to see if we can force my body to adjust. 48 hours later: 6+lbs of water retention and edema. When I put on my leggings they did not fit correct or right. Legit panic. Being they fit/a little loose a week prior. I was so puffy, and squishy. I did not change anything to my diet nor training. I watched months of work disappear in 48 hours. I was pretty upset at this point. I’m still kind of a recovering from it 1 ½ week later. Still some residual water but so much better. Just hope it does not come back. Clothes fit, abs are coming back, also no joint pain. It seriously hurt, was uncomfortable to even workout. I’m going to be open with this sort of thing. I’m not genetically blessed nor healthy, I have issues as well that are 100% out of my control. I still put in the: time, work, effort and consistency. I still get results. Why I do NOT accept most people’s BS excuses.

I probably will not be active that much on my social media until I work out things with my doctor. (She warned me this will suck.)So I can be a normal functioning human. kind of a slap to the face when you trade up one issue for another. So you may get a few fitness or a cosplay post here or there.

Completed a fun bi/tricep day. I usually hit them: 2-3x a week. Depends on what I feel or my training partners feel.

When give you a crazy ass bicep pump. Dieting down. It’s often hard to keep a good pump. Why it’s important to have a plan in place, a extremely good program / nutrition plan that works for your training/life style. Keep in mind, 90-95% of my carbs: ,,, daily. Also good salt and water intake too for some good pumps. I never cut carbs out of my diet there is so many reasons as to why, from protein sparing to leptin/Ghrelin balance. Being in terms of fat loss/gain It’s: cal in V. Cal out. I’m a big fan of flexible dieting.

I do try to post on my Instagram more “educational” content in terms of fitness. Being hey, I went through the: schooling, hours of study/research, passed the exams/certs. Being too much BS is spread around by people without prior education or knowledge.

Heavy AF squat session for me this morning as part of my leg day. Not recorded:

-landmine deadlift -> squat-> press.

- cannonball front Squat -> pliè squat

-Booty builder machine and pin selector leg extensions + adduction -> all until failure. It’s going to hurt in the morning.

Warmed up with some front squats at 125lbs for a few sets. Back squats at 135lbs for 4 set, I lost count for reps being this is a sweet spot for me, then 155lbs for 3 sets of 3 then 165lbs for 1 set of 3 reps. I currently weigh: 120lbs at 5'2ft yes, I am very smol. My goal is to squat 200lbs here in the next few months.

Deads start at: 135lbs. I can ONLY go up to 155lbs :/. So I stayed at 135, being my training partner and I are still sick. So we kept it light but slower movements for our back day. Big guy is also still recovering from stomach surgery. Working his core strength back.
