I really love makeup, especially eyeshadow, even though I try to avoid talking about makeup too much on my YouTube channel. I’ve been collaborating with @taterrounds for an eyeshadow collection for the past few weeks, so I’m pleased to finally introduce the Amore e Morte collection.
This isn’t just an eyeshadow collection to me. I wanted something deep and meaningful to me so that my heart and soul goes into its creation. This collection is a tribute to my favourite composer Gaetano Donizetti (1797-1848), a prolific composer from the Bel Canto era of opera in the 19th century. It was the work of this distinguished maestro that inspired me to pursue operatic voice seriously. The first song I ever learned in Italian, the very first opera song I learned, and the very first piece I ever learned by Donizetti was “Amore e Morte” which is why I’m named my collection after it.
For the last few years, I’ve adored the uniqueness, quality and vibrancy of @taterrounds ‘ eyeshadows; I cannot attest to their quality enough. It’s awesome to have a collection I can call my own.
The colours are named after the extraordinary lead female roles and icons from his operas, as well as the two things that made Donizetti unique: Love and Death. I go into the inspiration and backstory behind each shade on TaterRounds’ page on Etsy. You can either get the entire collection or buy your favourites separately. I’m absolutely in love with my video editor. Before making my latest video, I decided to give my intro a little upgrade, and I’m quite glad that I did. It sounds and looks so much better! Thanks so much to @readytoglare for suggesting this editor in her videos. She’s beautiful, and she’s an Italian badass.

Worldbuilding Prompt Request
Long story short I have the urge to do some worldbuilding so I’m putting out a request send me a prompt and I will write up a fictional culture that fits it. Prompts can include anything from 1 to 4 words or phrases.
Example: Horses, Swamps, Red
Example: Sci-fi, asteroid, rice, cats
Example: Tea, post-apocalyptic, memory
Example: Sorrow, remebering, bones, birds
