Hello! I made some printables to help you plan and organize up to sixteen weeks. Why sixteen weeks? That’s approximately how long a semester is, so you can use this planner as a semester overview! Even if you’re not in school, 16 weeks is a good length of time to give you a big picture view without being too overwhelmed. These printables feature a row for each week and can also be used digitally.
09.02.2020 | it’s already February, and i’m full on studying for my last exams. Already had the first one, finances is comin up in two days, then it’s the last one about leadership and organisation on Valentine’s day. Time’s flying by so fast and i’m actually living on coffee, carbs and sugar at the moment. I’ve already gained some weight again, and the semester hasn’t come to a complete end yet, because after that, it will be time to write three research papers (between 10 and 15 pages each) in a month. How do you cope with stressfull times?
I guess i completed the challenge - for the very first time in history i actually managed to do this in a way which i’m happy about! However, my productivity phase isn’t over yet - exam season is looking around the corner and i haven’t started yet! Let’s see if i manage to actually take some picture and time for posting. If not, i’ll be back in Mid february or April, depending on whether i’ll post during my essay-writing phase or will get back for my masters thesis. Hope you’re all doing good! Yesterday I decided to take a mental health day, as I was noticing my sleeping pattern getting worse and I was feeling more emotional than usual. It helped a lot and I’m very glad I did it.
Today was another project day. I overslept, so I enden up being 35 min late to our meet up, but wasn’t the end of the world. I managed to get some good hours of work done. Tomorrow I’ll work on it some more.
Share a memorable gift-opening moment from your childhood!
- It’ll be one for Sinterklaas instead of Christmas: My sister and I ended up receiving a keyboard (piano), but we had a number of mysteries to solve before getting to the present. I ended up so happy I could cry! I didn’t however ever learn how to play the piano, so for the first two years I tried teaching myself how to play a few different songs, but after that I ended up not using it and we sold it.
Tuesday = project day. I spend my entire afternoon working on the landing gear project today. As the deadline for the project is in 9 days, we are really focussing on getting the project finished asap so we have a bit more time for the final check.
When do you buy your Christmas presents?
- As a Dutchie, (my family and) I don’t really do gifts at Christmas, as we celebrate Sinterklaas at the start of December. It’s basically the gift side of Christmas and we even do something like secret Santa.
Yesterday my friend and I handed in our assignment and we feel pretty good about it!
Today I mostly did project work, but I found out I need the input of the stuff the others are woeking on in order to start on that. Hopefully I can finish working on that tomorrow!
What is a cherrished family tradition from your childhood?
- Instead of a Christmas dinner, my family has always done a Christmas buffet, where every one brings some home made food. Unfortunately we didn’t do it last year and won’t do it this year due to the circumstances.
What is a favorite family Christmas memory that has stuck with you through the years?
- My favorite memory is pretty much renewed every year and it’s seeing everyone together, enjoying the food and in general just seeing everyone enjoy themselves
Does your family have any odd traditions during the holidays?
Studying for my first OChem test which is tomorrow! I had a Quant Chem test yesterday and I have a Life Bio I test on Monday followed by a Life Bio Lab test on Wednesday… 4 TESTS IN ONE WEEK! Send coffee

I have two tests this week and I’m drowning in homework and study guides. I know school is a marathon but it feels like I’ve already been sprinting for a month!
Finishing my OChem Acids & Bases notes ☺️ it takes a while but it’s way easier when its time to review because I’ve organized all my rushed scribbles into organized and visually coherent notes.

I spent all morning copying over my Chemistry lecture notes and managed to fit all 4 hours of lecture into one page! These may be my favorite notes so far!

pro-tip: i gain most of my understanding of the course content through class lectures, but please read the textbook! it may be a bit boring because you’ve learned most of the content, but there’s always tiny details here and there you didn’t know of or didn’t learn in class. you don’t have to spend too much time on it, but it’s a great refresher in providing a second perspective in addition to your teacher/professor.
so currently not highlighting any of my notes because they bleed through this kind of graphing paper orz… does anyone recommend any highlighters that don’t bleed?
