RED FLAGS of a potential relationship

The condition of the Moon : pay close attention to the aspects it makes. A debilitated Moon might point to a man who has issues connecting to a softer energy or a man who was neglected by the mother and has repressed anger towards women. The same can be said about women and we might have women who hate women.

Examples to watch out for:

Saturn-Moon-Mars

Saturn-Moon-Chiron

Saturn-Moon-Pluto

I put emphasis on Chiron and Tsquares involving Chiron.

2-this one is very important : Your own natal chart!

If you have an unfinished Tsquare involving Chiron, Saturn, Pluto or you already have the Tsquare present in your natal chart:

Careful with attracting people who activate that Tsquare in synastry but most importantly do NOT replicate the pattern in a composite chart.

For example : Saturn in the 4th house -Chiron in 10th house -Sun in 7th house (natal chart tsquare Saturn-Sun-Chiron)

Partner activates Saturn or Chiron through personal planets and in the composite you have a repeated tsquare pattern or harsh : Chiron-Saturn-Pluto !!!

In a composite: Chiron, Saturn,Pluto,Mars in HARSH aspects meaning opposition and square point to clashes sadism and power dynamics.

Try attracting the positive energies from your natal charts, like an escape route from the pulling of Chiron/Saturn/Pluto.

-this also applies to gay couples.

     ㅤㅤ╰┈─➤ ❝Astronotes❞

- The Synastry chart between two people is the impact they put on each other, and the composite is the result of the impact.

- The best emotional understanding is between the same moon sign or someone with person a’s sun as their moon.

- Venus 1H usually gets who/what they want, are really eye catching and people tend to fall for Venus 1h.

- whatever sign your moon is in, people tends to have the traits of the sign be more intense weather they like it or not. (ex: cancer moon acts more like a cancer than a cancer sun would)

- Sagittarius tends to be really lucky , especially placements like Sagittarius Jupiter.

- Water Venuses are huge hopeless romantics, Scorpio Venus may be a more weaker representation of hopeless romantics and more of intimate romance.

- Gemini, Aquarius, Virgo and Capricorn Mercuries tend to use body language while talking, especially during debates.

- Moon square or opposition mercury aspects emotions are like a seesaw, their mind is telling them one thing and their mercury is saying another. These people tend to like poetry, storytelling and may like English. They may be idealistic.

- Mars in Virgo are reeally good when it comes to sexuality, and sexual intercourse, it’s like they’ve learned straight from a book and studied how to be good in bed for years.

- Fire moons tend to conceal their emotions from others and are more likely to have god complexes.

- Air moons usually lack empathy, also tend to have god complexes and rationalize their emotions.

- Earth moons tend to be more anxious then others, repress their feelings, and have trouble opening up to people.

- Water moons tend to over absorb others emotions, usually really sensitive to criticism, and might have victim complexes

How you come together

As I commented in my last observation post (which by the way thanks for all the love on it!), Venus in the composite can indicate what area of life the couple usually gets together, how or where they usually come together. There are more indicators for this, but as you can imagine Venus is one of the most important things to look at in a composite and it’s always interesting to dig in all the possible meanings. As I also promised in my previous observation post about relationships, here’s a brief description of Venus on each house in the composite chart, responding to the question how the couple usually gets together.

Credit: Tumblr blog @astrobydalia

Venus in the 1st house in the composite: it’s always the two of you together. You guys always count on eachother to go everywhere and to share everything ‍‍

Venus in the 2nd house in the composite: you guys could make money together, go shopping, enjoy meals together, share something artistic, enjoy relaxation activities

Venus in the 3rd house in the composite: you guys come together when you, chat, share opinions and learn from each other. Intelectual bond. Could also live close to each other and gossip every now and then

Venus in the 4th house in the composite: you guys get together at home and you could be involved with each other’s families. You could also be very interested in eachother’s past, roots, etc. Very common in couples that wanna have/be a family together ‍‍

Venus in the 5th house in the composite: no matter what you guys do you always have fun and laugh. Could share a lot of leisure time together constantly waking up the child inside you!

Venus in the 6th house in the composite: could work well together or be coworkers. Very common in couples that have some sort of routine together bc they see each other on the daily, at the same days at the same hours etc.

Venus in the 7th house in the composite: I’ve noticed this is very common in couples that like to collaborate, every time they are together they are collaborating somehow. To them it’s natural being together and usually they see eye-to-eye.

Venus in the 8th house in the composite: well, the obvious: sex. But this placement could also mean either one or both could be the other’s therapists. You get together by sharing your deepest darkest secrets *evil laugh*

Venus in the 9th house in the composite: you get together abroad, at university or by sharing philosophical/religious view. You like living exiting experiences together, things that give adrenaline rushes even. This could also indicate a long-distance relationship

Venus in the 10th house in the composite: You guys could like be seen together in public. You like to be serious together and work towards something together, you guys like the idea of achieving or building something together ‍

Venus in the 11th house in the composite: you get together through a sharing group of friends or community, that’s mostly the most common scenario. Also, I’ve seen this a lot in people that bond through having the same quirks ‍

Venus in the 12th house in the composite: you guys could come together in your dreams. Literally. But the most common scenario with this placement is a “can’t be together” vibe and so the getting together comes in the form of a platonic longing. I’ve also noticed with this placement that the couple gets together in a way that is totally out of their control (like never knowing exactly when or how).‍♀️

playboi-reads:

First, what are aspects

Simply put, aspects are the relationships made between planets. It’s how their energies interact with one another mathematically. Aspects (geometrically) are the slices of our Natal wheel, the Zodiac Circle. This circle adds up to 360 degrees. Half of the circle will give you 180 degrees, or an opposition. Dividing this circle into four equal parts will give you 90 degrees, or a square.

The Conjunction:

image

Conjunctions are planets that are very close together falling 0-10 degrees away from each other. Conjunctions can be described as easy as well as hard aspects depending on which planets are involved in the conjunction. A conjunction is the integration of two planetary energies. For instance, a Sun conjunct Venus aspect would indicate the Sun’s ego blends well with Venus’s grace and charm making for an optimistic, social individual on a surface level. This would be considered an “easy” conjunction. However, Mars conjunct Saturn would be a more difficult conjunction as Mars may feel restricted under Saturn’s rules and regulations, expressing themselves could seem harder, or center their energy on success and work while desensitizing them to emotion. Conjunctions typically fall under the same sign but there are still Out-of-Sign Conjunctions which are planets 0-10 degrees away from each other but occupying different signs.

The Opposition:

image

In case you didn’t get an inkling by it’s name, this is a hard aspect. Like mentioned above, oppositions are 180 degrees apart, meaning planets that are in opposition to one another are directly across each other on the wheel. Forexample the 1st house opposes the 7th house, the 2nd house opposes the 8th. Oppositions are like two energies on a seesaw, one goes up the other goes down. These two energies need balancing as they can swing from extreme to extreme. For instance, someone with moon opposite Pluto would struggle with integrating their emotional needs and comfort with their desire for power, control and strength. Creating a “ticking time bomb” like individual, due to suppressing (Pluto) their emotions (moon) for long periods of time till it all bubbles up to the surface resulting in explosions and outbursts. Oppositions are not a death sentence and can be remedied. In fact, oppositions are quite complimentary energies to one another, as the saying goes “Opposites attract.” (Determine what Signs Oppose each other here.)

The Square:

image

Squares are formed by 90 degree angles and for the most part can be found by counting three houses away from each other. Squares are also regarded as difficult aspects as the planetary energies here are having difficulty blending together. I usually describe a square between two planets as the planets are having a consistent argument between each other. They’re fighting. Squares highlight our inner conflicts and where we are challenged.Sun square moon would highlight where our emotional nature conflicts with our ego and outer persona. Squares lead to the most growth as they cause the most stress. Here is where we are challenged again and again until we get it right. Knowing the source of these conflicts give us a better handle on them and more control. (Determine what Signs Square each otherhere.)

The Trine:

image

Trines are formed by 120 degree angles, mathematically found by dividing the Zodiac circle by three. Trines are very easy aspects as the two planetary energies integrate harmoniously without any effort. Trines are the talents that come naturally to us, without a second thought. Here are the things that “fall into our lap.” At times these energies flow so easily through us we don’t even notice them, so a lot of times our trines are overlooked and taken for granted. For example, Moon trine Neptune can indicate a natural empathic and intuitive nature, easily picking up on energies of their environment and others. However, these individuals can have a tendency to ignore/distrust their inner voice and intuition telling them that someone is giving off a bad vibe. (Determine what Signs Trine each other here.)

The Sextile:

image

If you divide the Zodiac Circle by six you’d end up with a 60 degree angle, which is half a trine, or in other words a Sextile. The Sextile functions a lot like the trine except that it requires a bit of effort. These energies reflect our potential gifts and talents that we have to tap into. Unlike the trine, these energies are more apparent to us. For instance, Venus sextile Neptune can point to potential artistic abilities, the individual may have always had a quiet yearning to indulge in the arts. It’s not until they pick up a paintbrush and discover that they’re a Picasso incarnate. This is a harmonious aspect as the planetary energies here work together as friends. The Sextile points to gifts and skills  we can access with ease. We work fluently and efficiently with ourselves here. (Determine what Signs Sextile each other here.)

I’ve always strayed away from synastry and composite charts, but these days I’ve been studying mine and my bf’s chart, and there are so many fucking true placements that amazed me.

for example we have a few 11th house overlays(His Uranus in my 11th house) WHICH is a major indicator we met through mutual friends and have friends in common WHICH is exactly how we met - through my best friend

Alsohis Mars is in my 11th house = starting out as friends, perhaps a friends with benefits phase and then a relationship = YEP, that’s how it all went down

like DAMN

Considerations when studying synastry/composite

Hi everyone!

Something that I share with others is to always treat synastry/composite readings as if they’re natal charts. This seems obvious, but let me explain.

Every natal chart placement is specific to the person, and there is no inherent good/bad placement. Some are more difficult that others, but exist for a reason. Every person’s individual chart is perfect for them and their life.

So every person will seek to experience different energies/lessons this life. This means people will seek different relationships/partnerships/friendships depending on their charts.

I think this is more important for composite than synastry, but composite placements success between the two depend on the individuals natal charts.

Some people will seek intense relationships, others won’t. (Not to be confused with toxic!).

For example, two people with a lot of Scorpio energy in their natal charts will feel more comfortable if their composite chart placements contain that same intense transformative energy.

On the other hand two people with more libra energy in their own natal charts will prefer more easygoing energy.

That’s why composite charts work for all relationships, work, siblings, parents. We look for different energy in different people.

We also look for different things in relationships depending on our natal charts.

Kids? Monogamy? Intensity? Healing childhood wounds? Financial success?

When the composite chart energy compliments both natal charts of the individuals, that’s when the favorability aspect occurs.

It is not when you have a full chart of libra placements, because not everyone is seeking libra energy!

I hope this made sense and could give a new perspective! I learned this lesson awhile back while reading “Analyzing human relationships: Planets in Composite” by Robert Hand. I’ve found it to be very insightful and so simple to consider!

I’d love to hear your guys perspective and insight!

please, don’t run astrology blog if you’re under 21 because you don’t take responsibility for the lies you teach others. not everything is your fight, so, please, leave this knowledge to concerned people

composite chart - notes

composite chart = the relationship, how both people feel about the ‘one’ that they become when they are together. feelings that are mutual, unlike the synastry chart, which demonstrates a certain difference between how person A feels about person B’s planet. here, the aspect is valid for both, it represents how both feel about the union created for them. as características dos signos de água - a depender do que estão presentes - demonstram uma energia de intuição/conexão/sensibilidade/sacrifício - peixes; conexão/profundidade/entrega - escorpião; afeto, cuidado, emocionais, sensíveis - câncer.

—-

water dominant in composite can mean a relationship with a bond of emotions, depth and connection. it is a very surrendering relationship, in which feelings flow easily. the characteristics of water signs - depending on what are present - demonstrate an intuition / connection / sensitivity / sacrifice - Pisces; connection / depth / surrender - Scorpio;affection, care, emotional, sensitive -Cancer.

sun conjunct venus in composite represents an ability to truly love the other for who he/she is. it’s an aspect of love for the person’s personality, a love that goes beyond the failures and issues that arise here and there in fights, for example. this aspect helps a lot to keep the relationship flowing, it represents part of what love means: loving who the other is truly focusing on their positive points, and still seeking to evolve and improve on the negatives.

sun opposite saturn in composite chart means that the couple may have a great difficulty expressing themselves, a certain blockage, a difficulty in letting the core of the energy of the relationship flow and evolve.

mercury square neptune in composite is an aspect that denotes a lot of idealization (mercury = mind + neptune = ideals and dreams). communication tends to lack objectivity, feelings and fears that are repressed, insecurities and important issues that are not talked about because you are afraid, such as the fear of losing the other if you open up to him/her, the fear of losing the relationship, failing to criticize something pertinent.

north node sextile chiron in composite represents that through effort those involved can both work through the issues that need to evolve and deal with their wounds that come from chiron.

south node trine chiron in composite means that the traits you are most comfortable with can be used to deal with your wounds. the comfort zone - which we all have - of your relationship can ultimately serve to deal with the relationship wound. for example: south node in pisces in the 4th house, chiron in scorpio in the 12th house. through emotional openness and the ability to give themselves to each other, those involved can tend to have the scorpio in 12th house wound that involves the fear of intimacy, the feeling that one can’t easily trust each other. south node traits can help in chiron.

uranus square chiron in composite means an inconvenience and the need to change the issues brought by chiron, which won’t always be easy. it’s a great sense of urgency, but it may not mean an immediate evolution or transformation. it is an especially mental aspect of discomfort. when together, the people of the composite chart are challenged in their mind, in the way they act. there may be annoyances and inflexibilities to change in relation to the area in which chiron is (sign/house).

composite charts with many harmonic aspects involving venus tend to denote a more affectionate relationship, with more venusian exchanges and dynamics. a relationship in which feelings are experienced in a more expressive, direct way.

mercury sextile saturn in composite represents a relationship focused on each other’s thoughts and constant development of the mind, intellect. this is a relationship very much about mental discipline, teaching and/or learning each other how to deal with their mind, with their thoughts. in addition, it can denote a relationship with a more serious and responsible tendency towards thoughts and opinions.

types of astrology charts

Natal Chart

This is the basic chart of our personality. the Natal Chart is the one capable of showing our basic personality tendencies, it was designed as soon as we were born. it is the Natal Chart that says a lot about our basic behaviors, attitudes, ways of thinking, issues that we will have to deal with in the course of our lives, among many other things.

In the Natal Chart we have the planetary positions, and in each of them we have the sign and the house, the possible aspects, we can also talk about asteroids and houses cusps impacting our being. it is an interesting and necessary chart to have a first view of yourself. however, contrary to what one might imagine, the Natal Chart is not the only one to show who we are.

Persona Chart

In a deeper way, the Persona chart demonstrates to us the chart of a certain position (Moon, Mercury, Venus…). it is a way to find out more deeply about a single point of your natal chart. the Persona chart calculation of each placement is based on the movement of the Sun.

Example: let’s suppose I have Moon in Gemini at 23°15’. after my birth, the first time the Sun arrived in Gemini at 23°15’, my Moon Persona chart was formed. thus, the Persona chart is the first movement of the Sun by the degree of each placement of my natal chart. the Persona chart is a way of highlighting, giving light and focus to a single position. the relationship between the movement of the Sun to form the Persona chart of each placement can be explained by the fact that, from our birth, the Sun gradually awakens each part of our personality. little by little our Personas are having their charts created.

That’s why the natal chart is our basic personality: when we are born, it is formed. Persona charts depend on the movement of the Sun to ‘rise’, which occurs when the Sun makes its first cycle through that position (from the Moon, as I said in the example, or from another planet or even an asteroid). the Persona chart can be seen as a representation of your personality parts, the different masks you have, the little charts that together make up the whole of what you naturally are or tend to be.

transit chart

This is an interesting chart to see, in general terms, what may be happening to us at any given time, because the Transit Chart is calculated based on the date you enter, and unlike the charts that we will see below, it has a large possibility of change. the Transit Chart, as the word itself leads us to perceive, deals with the movements, the transits of the current planets being compared to the positions of the same planets, but in our natal chart.

Basically, the Transit Chart shows Planet in transit x Natal planet, when we think about the aspects. also, the Transit Chart demonstrates the current and constant movement of the planets through our natal houses. this is very interesting especially when looking at certain placements that last a certain time, like the transits of Saturn through the natal houses, a transit that lasts about 2 years. this chart comes a little closer to the concept of horoscope popularly taken to people. the point is that, unlike horoscopes that talk about possible influences for each sun sign, in this type of chart you can see how each planet (including the Sun itself) is currently being affected. I emphasize that each influence is very particular, we will have particular aspects in our Transit Chart, as well as the positions of the planets in the houses will be very different.

the Transit Chart offers the possibility to keep track of what is affecting you continuously, as many positions and aspects can change over the weeks, months or days (the Moon, for example, moves very fast). other placements, as I said, will last 1 year or more (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto). these are the long transits that demarcate phases in our lives and impact our being in a more profound way - depending on our attitudes, choices.

Progressed Chart

this is a chart of the progressions (changes) of our natal placements. this chart is very different from the Transit Chart, and has a unique way of being calculated. while the Transit Chart puts the current positions of the planets x your natal chart, the Progressed Chart adds 1 day to your birth date each year of life. it is a chart that represents a “slower” movement, but in a very interesting way, it demonstrates our maturation and personality development.

If every year 1 day is added to your natal chart, few things change, do you agree? precisely because it is “slower” and does nothow many changes to the natal chart, when one observes changes in positioning, aspects that are important or certain degrees (such as 29°, critical degree), the Progressed Chart becomes useful. becausethese rare changes may reflect issues that the individual will have to deal with in his or her life at that moment or from that moment onwards. because of all this, the Progressed Chart is considered one of the best tools to predict some event or energy that will be hovering in a more intense way over the native’s life. the Progressed Chart demonstrates personality evolution, which occurs slowly. the Progressed Chart can be understood as a translation of the moments when you may feel a greater desire for change in that area.

For example: Natal Sun in Aquarius, and in the current Progressed Chart, the Sun in Aquarius is at 29°2’. considering that this is the last degree, and this person’s Sun will move towards Pisces - in the sense of his/her astral evolution -, at this moment he/she can be led to deal with deep questions. questions involving his/her personality, recognize who he/she is, learn from involving the way he/she accepts and expresses him/herself, personality issues that Aquarius Sun may not have lived through in a healthy way.

It may be that this person feels a kind of shock or greater tension for, within 1 year (since in the Progressed Chart the Sun is about 1 year in each degree), this person will be ready to evolve and achieve other experiences with Sun in Pisces. this can bring need for change, existential crises. the reading of what can happen depends a lot on the Natal Chart itself. reading the Progressed Chart is interesting but reading it together with Natal Chart is much more productive. thus, the Progressed Chart shows us PUNCTUAL CHANGES that can occur in our personality with the course of our development and maturation. always remembering that maturation does not come by mere planetary movement, everything depends on us.

Solar Return chart

This chart is interesting to see certain influences through your birthday. I can tell it is sort of a 'picture’ taken by the Sun at the moment it gets to the same degree it was at when we were born. And from that photograph, we see possible influences for this birthday.

Differences between the Transit Chart, the Progressed Chart, and the Solar Return Chart:

1) the Transit Chart shows us influences of an everyday content, such as an aspect between your Moon and Mars, giving you more intensity and emotional impulsiveness; a placement of the Sun and Mercury in your 12th house, activating moments of introspection, for example.

This chart is also able to demonstrate deeper moments, changes in our personality. it is a chart that helps to understand our evolution process especially thinking about the planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. In relation to other charts, it helps us to have a greater view of how we are in weeks, days. Obviously, as we are in our day-to-day life, Transit Chart helps to understand the evolution process as a whole, because, to reach a certain period of evolution, we go through the small days. therefore, we can say that the Transit Chart helps us to see in the personal planets (from the Sun to Mars) the small steps we take in order to evolve. and the planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto give further hints of deep evolutionary processes.

2) the Progressed Chart is evolution itself. it does not have quick changes like it has on the Transit Chart. so Progressed Chart is more used to understand our being in a deeper way in the sense of time that goes by - we are different from we were 1 year ago.

3) In turn, the Solar Return Chart gives tips on how we will behave with ourselves and with others around us, as well as subjects that may be more striking during that birthdat, until the next one arrives. the interesting thing is that some positions are repeated in the 3 charts (such as Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto), which demonstrates that there is a harmony between the 3 charts, the difference is in their scope and in the meaning that each has.

Using me as an example, Saturn is transiting my 9th house. if I look at my Transit Chart, I will see this. if i look at my Progressed Chart, I will see this. and if I look at the Solar Return Chart (in the part of planets in natal houses), I will also see this. the difference of the three is in other points. in the Solar Return chart I have some specific aspects influencing my personality during this birthday, I also have certain placements on personal planets, and these placements will influence my birthday until the next.

But the same positions of SR chart are changing on the Transit Chart, and as time passes, I will feel other influences, whether from the planets in the houses or other aspects.

the Progressed Chart also has other aspects, which change quite slowly, but in the Progressed Chart, paradoxically, what matters most are the positions of the personal planets in the houses (since in it, the other positions of the non-personal planets will be the same the SR chart and the Transit chart).

summing up:

  • Transit Chart: useful for understanding influences on our personality, both lasting (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) and passing (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars). in this chart, you can access everyday influences, see if there’s any specific aspect happening, for example, if it is exact, what’s its orbit, and what house each planet is currently in.

  • Progressed Chart: it can be used to understand major changes, specific issues to be changed during your life, personality evolution, specific points. in this chart it is significant to look at the aspects. also, look at the personal planets in the houses (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars). regarding what houses they are in, the other planets (Jupiter to Pluto) are not so important in this type of chart, for the reasons I explained above.

  • Solar Return Chart: it is used to understand the influences on your natal chart as a whole, the aspects can be relevant, the planets in the houses too (remembering that the placements from Jupiter to Pluto will be the same as in the transit chart, as they take time to change), and it is important to remember that this type of chart shows trends for the year. it is as if it were a photograph taken at the moment when the Sun returned to its natal position (on your birthday, the day before or the day after). the Solar Return Chart needs to be analyzed with the Natal Chart, and it helps us to see some specific issues that can be dealt with during the 1-year period. but if you want to understand major changes in personality, its evolution, look at the Progressed Chart or the placements of Jupiter to Pluto in the houses.

did you understand the difference between them?

Synastry chart

it is a well-known chart, and basically it puts the chart of person A x the chart of person B in comparison, tracing the aspects and positions of each person’s planet in the other’s house. exemplifying: Sun of person A in the 5th house of person B. Sun of person B in the 8th house of person A. this happens in all synastry charts, the difference is in which house the planet will occupy.

We can say that it is as if I, by relating to another person, activate a certain part of their life, and the way that this will be activated will depend on the energy of the planet. another example: my Saturn (person A) in the 1st house of person B. I probably activate the area of self-awareness in that person’s life, and I do it in a Saturnian way, it can be through demands, challenges, doubts, problems, blocks, or transmitting an authoritative aura to the other. the ideal of this position is to instigate the other to develop their sense of individuality and identity in a responsible way. this was just an example, as several positions are possible, as we can imagine.

Furthermore, in the Synastry Chart we also have the aspects between the planets of both people involved. we can imagine, for example, Pluto (person A) square Venus (person B). probably, depending on the aspect’s orbit, if it is a strong aspect, the Venus person may feel a certain domination or control from the Pluto person. to summarize: in the Synastry Chart, we have two people being compared to see what happens through their interaction.

Composite chart

this chart is very interesting to understand the union of two people, what they FORM when they are together. the interaction between them is calculated no longer as if they were different, separate people, but being seen as “one person”. this chart represents, in fact, the union between them.

For example, a couple who have Capricorn Ascendant in the Composite Chart may behave quite reserved outside, showing themselves to others as a very restricted, closed couple, who do not share what goes on the relationship. it could be a couple that does not receive many visitors, for example. that same couple can have Moon in Cancer, making them quite receptive to each other’s emotions, wanting to really care for each other’s wounds and needs, emotional or otherwise. it can be a relationship with sensitivity to each other’s emotions.

Another example: two friends who have a lot of 5th house in the Composite Chart can be friends that together have fun and let loose much more than when they are with other friends.
