Annabeth: Chiron, it’s time you stop treating us like children! and it’s also time to stop feeding us dinosaur shaped chicken nugget!

Chiron: But you guys love them

Grover: We’re adults now! Percy, tell him

Percy: *playing with dinosaur chicken nuggets* ROARRR

Grover: oh come on

If camp half blood had one of those big sibling programs

Leo: I wanna get another one, 5’3, curly brown hair

Annabeth:ok-

Leo: Like now, Chirons gonna flip if he found out i lost the other one

Percy: Wait we can replace them??

Chiron *walks in the big house*: What are you seven doing, offering some sort of sacrifice?

Percy: Yea and it me

Jason: No, it’s not, no one wants to touch that

Percy: Okay, first of all, ouch

Chiron: So Percy, what are your goals in life?

Percy: Well, I’ve been banned from every major public transportation system except Melbourne. I don’t k is what their limit is, but i will find it and break it.

Clarisse: And i’m the one with anger issues

i think,

they will perish,

and yet my lips are silent—

they are sealed even when i am screaming

within my head;

i think,

they are unloved by the gods,

and pretend that i do not know—

i turn away from the noise within the wind

because they are just children;

i think,

he will lose his love,

but i do not know who i mean.

i remember the figs and the grass

and the quiet in mount pelion.

i remember the casual looks

driven by unnamed feelings,

unsaid but not unrequited.

i remember master’s stories

and the lessons he imparted with us,

and i remember loving each shared moments—

those that we did not know were numbered.

i remember my skepticism in some of his teachings

but now i think of how true his words had become;

the greatest grief, after all,

was sending you to your death

while life continued to run through my veins.

saturn opposite chiron

-this aspect is usually one that suggests a difficult or wounded relationship with the father or a key father-like/authoritative figure in a persons life; people with this aspect may have had a challenging relationship with their father [or similar figure] who may have been overbearing, unfair, aggressive while in some ways simultaneously distant, absent or caught up in his own wounds/struggles

-people with this placement may have a tendency towards feelings of inadequecy, self doubt, low self esteem, fear of rejection, lack of confidence in their abilities, imposter syndrome, feeling undeserving, feeling pressured to be perfect etc

-however, not only do they struggle with these feelings towards themselves, those with this aspect may also be quite judgemental towards others also; perhaps often rejecting others, being a harsh critic, setting unrealistic expectations for others, projecting their fears onto others, expecting the worst from others. a lot of the time they do not act this way out of intentional negativity towards others; usually this is a projection/representation of how they were treated by others or how they treat/think of themselves

-they may find themselves working tirelessly in order to achieve some sense of feeling enough; although a lot of the time they are chasing an unnatainable goal as their feeling of inadequecy is often very deep rooted and not so easily resolved through unrelated achievements

-people with this aspect may commonly feel extremely uncomfortable around anyone who is particularly authorative, aggressive, strict, harsh etc as they hate being in situations where they may be treated unfairly, looked down upon, judged etc which may stem from experiences from their childhood or interactions they had early in their life [again, possibly influenced by their father figure or a key authorative figure in their lives]

-because of this, they may feel very uneasy around authority figures such as bosses, teachers, people they deem ‘better’ than them or intimidating etc

-it is often common for people with this aspect to hold on to a lot of trauma, both their own and that of those closest to them/around them; they may feel responsible for it in some way or feel like they need to hold onto it to relieve others from doing so. a lot of the time, they do this quietly so people may not realise or notice just how much they are dealing with or trying to process

-furthermore, while one person may experience something and let go of it quickly/easily, overcome or forget about it, a person with this aspect is much more likely to keep the trauma of it with them, sometimes very deeply

-people with this aspect may experience family related issues or may struggle to feel secure within their family or loved by family members; they may find it difficult to comprehend that family can be loving, safe, secure, caring, etc. this does not always mean they have a traumatic response/relationship with their family, they may just feel very distant to their family or alienated from their family, like they don’t fit in

-they may struggle to find their place in the world; their fear of rejection combined with their fear of abandonment can cause them to both hold on to things that do not serve them while not making the most out of potential opportunities due to fear of failure/rejection, they may also be very suspicious of others and struggle to trust others, often keeping people at arms length and struggling to develop the deep connections they have craved for so long

-at times, people with saturn opposite chiron may feel like their relatioinship with themselves is what holds them back from healing, connecting with others or achieving what they want. they may struggle with lonliness and even feel like they deserve to feel this way. they may also struggle with feelings of shame, dissapointment or resentment when it comes to how they feel about themselves

-they may feel like they don’t ever fit in; they may feel so far away from others and find it hard to connect with people. they might believe that they have too many problems which prevent them from establishing healthy relationships/connections with others. because of this, they may trick themselves into believing that they are simply destined to be independent and self sufficient; that they do not need anyone other than themselves and because of this may feel very dissapointed, guilty, weak or even ashamed in themselves if they ever feel like they want/need a relationship as so often they assume that to depend on someone else is a weakness for them

-because it is common for them to hold on to trauma/emotions etc for others, it may be also common for people with this aspect to feel upset if they do not feel needed by others; so often, they have a tendency to pride themselves for holding it all together and being there for others [even if it is detrimental to themselves] and it gives them a sense of security to fit themselves into others’ lives by being useful or serving a purpose. if they do not feel needed by others, they may feel discarded, unwanted, useless, misplaced; their sense of purpose is taken away from them and without that they may feel like they have nothing left as they are given security by giving so much of themselves to others [so that they don’t have to deal with their own issues]

-sometimes, people with this aspect may struggle with trying to understand their trauma or issues [chiron rules our wounds and struggles] and because of this they may find themselves behaving in very self-destructive ways in order to 'recreate’ or find the trauma so that they can understand it in the present and heal, although this usually does more harm than good because it causes them to stray further and further away from the root of the problem

-this can be a very, very difficult aspect to have; people with it may become very withdrawn at times, absorbed in their own problems/traumas/wounds, lost in their own head, obsessing over the unfairness of what they are feeling/what they have been through

-the lesson of this aspect is to learn how to deal with pain and trauma that stems from the wound caused by chiron; we are never to blame for the bad things that have happened to us and we should never blame ourselves for it. however, the influence of saturn on this aspect is urging us to have more control over how we allow our pain to affect our lives; it encourages us to decide how much power we give to the pain and trauma in our life and be in control of how we continue living with it

-although this is a particularly challenging and painful aspect to have, the influence of saturn [ruler of restriction, rules, control, limitation] encourages people to limit how much pain and power this trauma caused by chiron holds over them, it encourages people to choose healing to overcome their issues; rather than cycles of self destruction or revisiting old trauma hoping for a different outcome

-it is often beneficial for people with this aspect to learn/understand/acknowledge that while wounds [chiron] may not dissapear or be completely forgotten about, they still have potential to be in control [saturn] of how much of an impact they have; this aspect is trying to teach that trauma doesn’t have to define a person and that people are able to regain control even after struggling with something

With Chiron turning today direct in Aries we’re open to new possibilities in our healing process, able to access deep memories, rising from fragmentation into wholeness.

This is a moment where our agreement to go further matters, where we decide if we’re ready to descend into darkness, to accept what we’re going to find there; if we’re ready for metamorphosis and expansion.

The darkness is visibly fearful and hard to be discovered, it needs time, quietness, calmness to open to you the secrets, path, new territory.

Fear is a bandage on your eyes, a mechanism to hold you from reaching wholeness, it’s compartments, rooms, ideas, expectations.

Healing is about saying yes to the darkness, unknown, bringing light to the abandoned places, a calmness of warrior and openness of the child.

Intention.

You can.

Discover.

Wholeness.

Manifest completely new.

This is a healing journey,

there is always a wound, fear is wrapped even in the most shining smile. Your childhood can be an imprint of the main themes in your healing journey - this is a time when we can see deeper, when we’re wise enough to open for any experience and craving for teaching, no matter how harsh, horrible it can be, our soul is fresh with the memory of why we’re here.

So we’re ready to go - passed unnoticed to the adults, words and actions towards us as children can stay with us for years, mirroring in various difficult experiences.

Inner child

That’s all held in our inner child, the first sparkle of our personality free from conditioning by education, family, social groups etc., widely open for life and its experiences as they are, full of play, creative fire and ability to accept and give love. It’s the most clear imprint of our soul.

Trauma

Trauma shadows the inner child, making him\her retreat into the deeper parts of the psyche, he\she isn’t a warrior at all, so quietly slides inside, leaving vague memories.

When we approach the trauma - see it, starting to descend into it, slowly healing, the inner child is coming further.

Things that can bring the trauma into the light:

*** meditation and relaxation through any kind of technique that help your body and mind to open up and release stored energy of the wound,

*** setting intention that you’re ready to reveal your wounds and start healing can be a great deal, it’s a kind of signal you’re sending to your conscious mind at first and then letting this intention go, forgetting about it, you allow your unconsciousness connected with cosmos to start working on it,

*** focusing on the things that can point to your wounds:

  • natal chart (look at Pluto, Chiron, Lilith)
  • evaluating repeating negative patterns in your life, your blocks
  • going to see your parents or staying with them for a while (the last thing is advised if you want no less but enlightenment)
  • reflecting on the relationships with people closest to you,

*** trying to reconnect with your inner child - dance, sing, embrace your creativity and try to see how your inner child responds to that, eventually you can even write a letter to yourself as a child.

Healing

Healing is a slow process of opening up to the trauma, letting wounds to be revealed, accepted and healed. There is no specific time, pace, process to do that. It’s like letting the flower bloom, not trying to open up the petals, eventually ruining the natural process. That flower is your inner, truest teacher, eventually it makes us grow, teach us love, compassion, understanding, let our souls evolve.

Explore. Reframe. Embrace healthy conflict. Celebrate that value is in your effort, only that matters.

 chiron retrograde

image

What is Chiron? Let’s start by saying there’s often debate on whether Chiron is an asteroid or a comet. For this, we’ll simply refer to it as an asteroid. The asteroid orbits the Sun between Saturn and Uranus. Chiron is named after Chiron, the centuar in greek myth. Chiron was a teacher and healer, but ultimately could not heal himself after being hit with poisoned arrows.

In astrology, Chiron is coined “The Wounded Healer”. Chiron represents those inner wounds and insecurities that you need to heal from but just can’t seem to heal completely. It represents things we may be able to see and heal in others, but not in ourselves. These wounds were likely brought up in our childhood.

Chiron is in retrograde from July 11, 2020 until December 15th, 2020 in Aries. This retrograde is all about bringing up wounds that we often leave behind, or ignore and, with Chrion being in Aries during this time, facing them. It is a time for healing and uncovering those wounds.

Here are examples of Chiron within ones chart using the house that rules it. I feel the house placement in the most important part of Chiron, since the house represents where this wound is at and how we can help ourselves [and others] heal this wound. Use this calculator to find your Chiron sign and house.

2H Chiron - To have Chiron in the 2H means that your wounds come from your [lack of] self-esteem/self worth. You may feel like you aren’t good or ‘worthy’ enough and in turn, value other possessions above yourself. There also might be issues with saving money or holding onto valuable possessions for too long / attaching yourself to object. It’s likely that you’re able to help others who are feeling this way in their life, but you downplay your own emotions/feelings.

4H Chiron - Issues with family / the mother. Having some sort of emotional or physical disconnect within your home and family life. There could be issues with detaching emotionally, especially when it has something to do with family or intense feelings – there’s a disconnect. However, you’re able to help others and be a secure person for them.

7H Chiron - Since 7H has to do with partnerships, people with 7H Chiron feel a disconnect with partnerships - usually of the romantic variety. This could be due to your own parental figures. If you have 7H Chiron, it’s likely that you tend to feel unworthy of love or like you may never find it.  It’s possible that people with this placement tend to heal their partners in relationships, or attract people that need healing.

During this current Chiron retrograde, we should figure out where out wounds come from and not deny that they exist, as that only causes more hurt. Through recognizing these wounds, we can plan direct action to heal them.

luvstrology:

-this individuals subconscious wound could stem from issues around learning, schooling, communication and/or siblings

-during childhood/growing up, this person may have experienced an environment where their thoughts/ideas were rejected

-as a child, people around them may have mocked their ideas/beliefs/thoughts; making them fearful of expressing themselves incase they were judged or ridiculed by others

-they may have felt intellectually inferior to those around them and felt scared of how others perceived them because of this

-people with this placement may have also had difficulty learning at school, they may have struggled with certain school subjects and this may have knocked their confidence; they may have struggled to concentrate with difficult/intellectual subjects and preferred creative ones

-people with this placement may have subconscious wounding surrounding rejection and judgement from others due to intellectual ability, they may feel rejected by their peers and uncomfortable in certain situations

-there may have also been some form of sibling rivalry during childhood and the person with this placement may have grew up feeling inferior to a sibling

-those with this placement understand how it feels to not be heard, to not have their ideas/opinions acknowledged, understood or appreciated and what its like to have difficulty comprehending something

-once this has been acknowledged, the person may be able to help others heal from these types of wounds through their words; this sign will give them the opportunity to become intellectual once they have healed their wounds and discovered something they are passionate about and wish to learn/discover

-these people need to learn that they are intelligent and capable of being intellectual despite feeling inadequate early on in life, that its okay not to have opinons/ideas accepted by others all the time, their thoughts/ideas are valid and they will be able to find like minded people who they feel comfortable enough to express themselves around

-they need to let go of the fear of judgement of what others may think about what they say

Little
Chiron
Black

Barry Jenkins’ near perfect film Moonlight did not need anything but faces and lyrics to engulf its viewer into some jaw dropping and mind boggling scenes. It tells us a story of a young, black, gay, poor and lonely kid, Chiron, living in Miami. The film pans over three parts, with three actors playing Chiron in his different stages of life. It is a character study of a boy who is trying to find his place in a world which has been nothing but ignorant to him. The films’ complex themes of sexuality, family and masculinity are portrayed by the characters with such care and precision. It puts us into a very difficult world and tries to question our whole social structure. Jenkins use faces and water to talk with the viewers about the evolution of Chiron from a child to a man. Water acts as a symbol for transformation and freedom. Whereas moonlight is shown as something under which, one can discover their true identity. The concept of masculinity is vital to the film’s exploration of Chiron’s identity and the societal forces that shape it. Jenkins gives us the visual proof of ‘some things are better left unsaid’. He uses close ups in this movie to invite us into these characters’ world. Juan(a drug dealer) and Kevin(Chiron’s friend) both presents Chiron with examples of standing up for oneself. When faced with the prospect of answering who are we against the grim need for change, personal acceptance seems like the only solution.

I always love a piece of art that emphasizes our traditional and cultural beliefs and poses questions that we never even cared to consider.

It is a film that anyone can watch without any specificity and it will leave them touched.

Planets in the 12th House: Questions/Answers

Planets and asteroids here can be a bit tough on the natives. We all have to remember to stay strong and not lose hope. Life is filled with many challenges and we are here to learn and evolve, one day at a time.

Sun in the 12thHouse“Am I worthy?” Yes, you are. Remember that every single day is a battle and you are special and valued. When you have grown into who you are and learn to appreciate the gifts you can bring forth to the world, you can help others. Learn to channel your egotistical side occasionally, because it can work wonders.

Moon in the 12thHouse“Why can I feel everything?” You are the empath and can sense everyone’s pain. Use your abilities to heal others and it enhance your skills. Many will go to you because your mind will serve as a beacon, helping individuals in your journey. Your helpful nature will be expressed through this placement, helping others along the way.

Mercury in the 12thHouse“Does anyone understand me?” It’s hard to step out of the shadows of the 12th House, but first you need to find some faith in yourself, only then will you be able to speak loudly with a mind that will shine brilliantly, empowering you to relay your message to the world.

Venus in the 12thHouse“Do they truly love me?” There is a tendency for the native with this placement to keep their love lives hidden or there are circumstances that force them to (an affair or someone unattainable). Make sure that you and your partner are honest with one another, this way the relationship can flourish in the sunlight instead of the shadows.

Mars in the 12thHouse “Is it worth fighting for anything?” Yes, fight for everything you believe will bring forth positivity and help you become a better person. Cling on to your passions, your hopes and dreams and you will see that there will come a point when you can become a champion for other people that cannot express or use their voice.

Neptune in the 12thHouse “Is this reality?”  Neptune is comfortable here because it rules the mystery of the 12th. Those with Pisces influence or dominance would understand how this can be a haven, an escape into another world and a place where their dreams can unravel. The only issue here would be not to fall too deep into the mystic rivers of the 12th because it can consume you and your reality will be warped. You have the power to feel everyone’s pain, so you need to learn how to remove yourself from emotionally draining circumstances. Hone your psychic abilities and make them stronger so that the waters don’t drown you here. It’s always good to wake up after a nice dream.

Jupiter in the 12thHouse“Hope is somewhere.” The benefic planet in the House of shadows is a wonderful placement. In your darkest hour you will be able to find a beacon of light and hope that will push you out of the darkness. Make sure to fine tune that ability because it is within you. This placement smooths the transition from feelings of being in a dark place to finding the power to rise above it all with ease.

Uranus in the 12thHouse“Why is everything changing?” The native has a fear of the changing world, but this is all in your head. Change is good, change should be welcomed because change helps catapult you to your next stage. If you feel apprehensive or you might be too fixed in your own ways to accept the changes, remember that we live in a dynamic world and we have to evolve with the times.

Saturn in the 12thHouse“When will the madness end?” In the House of self-undoing, this placement can become the native’s worst enemy. Take time to do some meditating, exercise, writing or reading. Any hobbies will help you get out of the slump. Focus on doing as much as you can and whenever you have doubts or fears, remember that you can get through this because you are powerful enough to endure and weather any storms. You will come out stronger than ever.

Pluto in the 12thHouse“Will I get a moment of peace?” You will. Pluto, like Saturn are tough malefics, but you van do it because this is only your first form of many. Pluto transforms and empowers, so at your lowest point you will find a light, just like the native with Jupiter in this House. This light will help you and strengthen you since you will learn how to face these challenges when you evolve. With each transformation, you will acquire new weapons that will aid in your journey. Do not lose hope.

Chiron in the 12thHouse – “Why does everything hurt?” Chiron here will be very much like a mix of the Moon and Saturn in the 12th. You can sense the pains of others along with something that might be haunting you within. With this placement, you can meditate to uncover the greater mysteries. There is a compassionate soul within you and it can bring transformations to others in a positive and exquisite way.
